I hereby promulgate the Law for Adjustment of Laws and Orders Concerned in Consequence of the Enforcement of the Law for Fixed Number of Personnel in the Administrative Organs.

行政機関職員定員法の施行に伴う関係法令の整理に関する法律
Law for Adjustment of Laws and Orders concerned in Consequence of the Enforcement of the Law for Fixed Number of Personnel in the Administrative Organs
第一條 全國選挙管理委員会法（昭和二十二年法律第百五十四号）の一部を次のように改正する。
Article 1. The National Election Management Commission Law (Law No.154 of 1947) shall be partially amended as follows:
第十六條第二項中「政令の定めるところにより」を削り、同條第三項を削る。
In Article 16 paragraph 2, "by Cabinet Order" shall be deleted and paragraph 3 of the same Article shall be deleted.
第二條 外國爲替管理委員会令（昭和二十四年政令第五十三号）の一部を次のように改正する。
Article 2. The Foreign Exchange Control Commission Order (Cabinet Order No.53 of 1949) shall be partially amended as follows:
Article 10 paragraph 2 and paragraph 3 shall be deleted, paragraph 4 shall be paragraph 2, in the same paragraph, "of the preceding paragraph" shall be amended as "established in the office" , paragraph 5 shall be deleted, and paragraphs 6 and 7 shall be paragraphs 3 and 4 respectively.
第三條 日本学術会議法（昭和二十三年法律第百二十一号）の一部を次のように改正する。
Article 3. The Science Council of Japan Law (Law No.121 of 1948) shall be partially amended as follows:
第十六條第二項中「政令の定めるところにより、」を削る。
In Article 16 paragraph 2, "in accordance with the Cabinet Order" shall be deleted.
第四條 証券取引法（昭和二十三年法律第二十五号）の一部を次のように改正する。
Article 4. The Securities and Exchanges Law (Law No.25 of 1948) shall be partially amended as follows:
第百七十一條第一項中「政令の定めるところにより」を削り、同條第二項及び第四項を削る。
In Article 171 paragraph 1, "as may be prescribed by Cabinet Order" shall be deleted and paragraphs 2 and 4 of the same Article shall be deleted.
第五條 國立光明寮設置法（昭和二十三年法律第百六十二号）の一部を次のように改正する。
Article 5. The Law for the Establishment of the National Institute Komei-ryo (Law No.162 of 1948) shall be partially amended as follows:
第三條を次のように改める。
Article 3 shall be amended as follows:

第六條 引揚援護廳設置令（昭和二十三年政令第百二十四号）の一部を次のように改正する。
Article 6. The Repatriation Relief Agency Establishment Order (Cabinet Order No.124, 1948) shall be partially amended as follows:
第十三條の見出しを（職員）に改め、同條第一項を次のように改める。
The heading of Article 13 shall be amended as "(Personnel)" , and paragraph 1 of the same Article shall be amended as follows:
引揚援護廳に長官の外、次長一人その他所要の職員を置く。
"1. The Repatriation Relief Agency shall have besides the Director, one Deputy Director and other necessary personnel" .
第十四條から第十六條までを次のように改める。
Articles 14 to 16 inclusive shall be amended as follows:

Article 15. The Deputy Director shall assist the Director, and manage the affairs of the Agency.
Article 7. The Law concerning the Measure to be Taken, in Case When the Government Takes over the Agricultural Land Development Enterprise operated by the Agricultural Land Development Corporation (Law No.176 of 1947) shall be partially amended as follows:
第三條を次のように改める。

Regulations governing the Organization of the Staff Office of the Fair Trade Commission (Cabinet Order No.139 of 1947).
全國選挙管理委員会事務局令（昭和二十二年政令第三百三十六号）
Ordinance concerning the Office of the National Election Management Commission (Cabinet Order No.336 of 1947).
地方財政委員会事務局令（昭和二十三年政令第三号）
Order concerning the Office of the Local Finance Commission (Cabinet Order No.3 of 1948).
科学技術行政協議会事務局定員令（昭和二十三年政令第三百八十九号）
Order concerning the Fixed Number of Personnel of the Office of the Scientific and Technical Administrative Commission (Cabinet Order No.389 of 1948).
檢察廳職員定員令（昭和二十二年政令第三十六号）
Order concerning the Fixed Number of Personnel of the Public Procurator's Office (Cabinet Order No.36 of 1947).
逓信部内臨時職員設置制（昭和二十二年勅令第九十六号）
Regulations pertaining to Establishment of Temporary Personnel within the Ministry of Communications (Imperial Ordinance No.96 of 1947).
労働省設置法施行令（昭和二十二年政令第百七十三号）
Regulations for the Enforcement of the Labor Ministry Establishment Law (Cabinet Order No.173 of 1947).
附 則
Supplementary Provision:
この法律は、昭和二十四年六月一日から施行する。
This Law shall come into force as from June 1, 1949.
