朕は、昭和二十年勅令第五百四十二號ポツダム宣言の受諾に伴ひ發する命令に關する件に基く船舶保護法の廢止等に關する勅令を裁可し、ここにこれを公布せしめる。
I hereby give My Sanction to the Imperial Ordinance for the Abrogation of the Ship Protection Law and others under the Imperial Ordinance No. 542 of the 20th year of Showa (1945) concerning the Orders to be issued in consequence of the acceptance of the Potsdam Declaration and cause the same to be promulgated.

この勅令は、公布の日から、これを施行する。
