農林省設置法等の一部を改正する法律をここに公布する。

(Partial Amendments to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Establishment Law)
第一條　農林省設置法（昭和二十四年法律第百五十三号）の一部を次のように改正する。
Article 1.　The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Establishment Law (Law No.153 of 1949) shall be partially amended as follows:
第四條第二十四号の二の次に次の一号を加える。
Next to Article 4 item (24)-(2), the following one item shall be added:
二十四の三　動植物の病菌害虫等の防除に関し、都道府県及び防除を行う者に対し、補助金を交付すること。
(24)-(3)　To grant subsidy to governments of To, Do, Fu or prefectures and those engaged in the prevention and extermination task with respect to prevention and extermination of pests and diseases of animal and plant.
第十條第一項第四号の次に次の一号を加え、同條第二項中「第四号」を「第四号の二」に改める。
Next to Article 10 paragraph 1 item (4), the following one item shall be added and in the same Article paragraph 2, "item (4)" shall be amended as "item (4)-(2)."
四の二　統計的調査資料に基き、農林畜水産業に関する予測事業を行うこと。
(4)-(2)　To conduct out-look service related to agriculture, forestry, livestock and fisheries on the basis of statistical survey data.
第十三條中「 動植物検疫所 」を「 植物防疫所 動物検疫所 」に改める。
In Article 13," Plant and Animal Quarantine Station "shall be amended as "Plant Protection Station Animal Quarantine Station ".
第二十七條を次のように改める。
Article 27 shall be amended as follows:

(Plant Protection Station)
第二十七條　植物防疫所は、左に掲げる事項を行う機関とする。
Article 27.　The Plant Protection Station shall be an organ in charge of the following matters:
一　輸出入植物又は輸入病菌害虫の検査及び取締並びに病菌害虫の調査研究
(1)　Inspection, control of export and import plant or imported pests and diseases and research and study of the latter;
二　植物防疫法（昭和二十五年法律第百五十一号）第二十三條の規定による発生予察事業の実施
(2)　Carrying out of the forecast of outburst of pests and diseases in accordance with the provisions of Article 23 of the Plant Quarantine Law (Law No.151 of 1950);
三　植物防疫法第二十二條第一項の指定有害動植物の防除に必要な薬剤（薬剤として用いることができる物を含む。）及び防除用器具の保管
(3)　Custody of chemicals (including anything which may be used as chemicals) required prevention and extermination of designated noxious animal and plant as well as of implements for use in prevention and extermination under Article 22 paragraph 1 of the Plant Quarantine Law.
２　植物防疫所の名称、位置及び管轄区域は、左の通りとする。
2　The name, location and jurisdiction area of the Plant Protection Station shall be as follow:

３　農林大臣は、植物防疫所の事務を分掌させるため、所要の地に植物防疫所の支所又は出張所を設けることができる。
3　The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry may set up branch or sub-branch of Plant Protection Station at suitable place in order to let them take charge of the responsibilities of Plant Protection Station thereunder.
４　植物防疫所の内部組織並びに支所及び出張所の名称、位置、内部組織及び所掌事務については、農林省令で定める。
4　As for internal subdivision of branch and sub-branch thereof, they shall be provided for by Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Ordinance.
第二十九條を削り、第二十八條を第二十九條とし、第二十七條の次に次の一條を加える。
Article 29 shall be deleted;Article 28 shall be made Article 29, and, next to Article 27, the following one Article shall be added:
（動物検疫所）
(Animal Quarantine Station)
第二十八條　動物検疫所は、左に掲げる事項を行う機関とする。
Article 28.　The Animal Quarantine Station shall be an organ in charge of the following matters:
一　輸出入動物その他の物に対する家畜伝染病予防法（昭和二十六年法律第百六十六号）による輸出入検査及びこれに基く処置
(1)　Inspection on export and import of animals and other goods for export and import and any action to be taken thereunder in accordance with the provisions of the Domestic Animal Infectious Diseases Control Law (Law No.166 of 1951);
二　輸出入動物に対する狂犬病予防法（昭和二十五年法律第二百四十七号）に基く検査
(2)　Inspection on export and import animal in accordance with the provisions of the Rabies Prevention Law (Law No.247 of 1950);
三　輸出入動物の健康検査
(3)　Health inspection on export and import animal;
四　動物用生物学的製剤及び予防用器具の保管、配布、譲与及び貸付
(4)　Custody, distribution, transfer and loan of animal biological products and implements for prevention;
五　委託を受けて動物その他の物に対する検査又は消毒を行うこと。
(5)　Inspection or disinfection of animal and other goods by being entrusted.
２　動物検疫所は、横浜市に置く。
2　The Animal Quarantine Station shall be located at Yokohama City.
３　農林大臣は、動物検疫所の事務を分掌させるため、所要の地に動物検疫所の支所又は出張所を設けることができる。
3　The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry may set up branch or sub-branch of Animal Quarantine Station at suitable place in order to let them take charge of the responsibilities of Animal Quarantine thereunder.
４　動物検疫所の内部組織並びに支所及び出張所の名称、位置、内部組織及び所掌事務については、農林省令で定める。
4　As for internal subdivision of Animal Quarantine Station and name, location, internal subdivision of branch and sub-branch thereof, they shall be provided for by Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Ordinance.
第三十三條第二項の表中「
鳥取種畜牧場 鳥取県
」を「

」に改め、第三十四條第一項の表中「
中央作況決定審議会 農作物の作況決定に関する重要事項を調査審議すること。
」を「

In the table annexed to Article 33 paragraph 2,

(Partial Amendments to Fisheries Agency Establishment Law)
第二條　水産庁設置法（昭和二十三年法律第七十八号）の一部を次のように改正する。
Article 2.　The Fisheries Agency Establishment Law (Law No.78 of 1948) shall be partially amended as follows:
第七條の二中「

In Article 7-(2)

第七條の三第二項の表の位置の欄中「高知県」を「高知市」に、「七尾市」を「新潟市」に改める。
In the column of location of the table annexed to Article 7-(3) paragraph 2, "Kochi-ken" shall be amended as "Kochi City" , and "Nanao City" shall be amended as "Niigata City."
第七條の四の次に次の二條を加える。
Next to Article 7-(4), the following two Articles shall be added:

(Lake Towada Hatchery)
第七條の四の二　十和田湖ふ化場は、ます類のふ化及び放流並びにその種卵の生産及び配付を行う機関とする。
Article 7-(4)-(2).　The Lake Towada Hatchery shall be an organ in change of hatching, releasing of bass, etc. and of production and distribution of seed egg thereof.
２　十和田湖ふ化場は、秋田県に置く。
2　The Lake Towada Hatchery shall be located in Akita Prefecture.
３　十和田湖ふ化場の内部組織については、農林省令で定める。
3　As for internal subdivision of the Lake Towada Hatchery, it shall be provided for by Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Ordinance.
（北海道さけ・ますふ化場）
(Hokkaido Salmon and Bass Hatchery)
第七條の四の三　北海道さけ・ますふ化場は、さけ類及びます類のふ化及び放流を行う機関とする。
Article 7-(4)-(3).　The Hokkaido Salmon and Bass Hatchery shall be an organ in charge of hatching and releasing of salmon, bass, etc.
２　北海道さけ・ますふ化場は、北海道に置く。
2　The Hokkaido Salmon and Bass Hatchery shall be located in Hokkaido.
３　農林大臣は、北海道さけ・ますふ化場の事務を分掌させるため、所要の地に北海道さけ・ますふ化場の支場又は事業場を設けることができる。
3　The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry may set up branch or place of business of the Hokkaido Salmon and Bass Hatchery at suitable places in order to let them take charge of the responsibilities of the Hokkaido Salmon and Bass Hatchery thereunder.
４　北海道さけ・ますふ化場の内部組織並びに支場及び事業場の名称、位置、所掌事務及び内部組織については、農林省令で定める。
4　As for internal subdivision of the Hokkaido Salmon and Bass Hatchery, and name, location, responsibilities and internal subdivisions of branch and of place of business thereof, they shall be provided for by Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Ordinance.
第七條の五第二項を次のように改める。
Article 7-(5) paragraph 2 shall be amended as follows:
２　水産講習所は、下関市に置く。
2　The Fisheries Institute shall be located in Shimonoseki City.
附　則
Supplementary Provisions:
１　この法律は、昭和二十七年四月一日から施行する。但し、附則第三項の規定は、公布の日から施行する。
1　This Law shall come into force as from April 1, 1952. However, the provisions of paragraph 3 of the Supplementary Provisions shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
（植物防疫法の一部改正）
(Partial Amendments to Plant Quarantine Law)
２　植物防疫法（昭和二十五年法律第百五十一号）の一部を次のように改正する。
2　The Plant Quarantine Law (Law No.151 of 1950) shall be partially amended as follows:
第六條第四項、第八條第一項、第四項及び第六項並びに第十條第二項中「動植物検疫所」を「植物防疫所」に改める。
In Article 6 paragraph 4, Article 8 paragraph 1, 4, and 6 and Article 10 paragraph 2, "Animal and Plant Quarantine Station" shall be amended as "Plant Protection Station" .
（植物防疫法の一部を改正する法律の一部改正）
(Partial Amendments to Law for Partial Amendments of Plant Quarantine Law)
３　植物防疫法の一部を改正する法律（昭和二十六年法律第二百四十三号）の一部を次のように改正する。
3　The Law for Partial Amendments to the Plant Quarantine Law (Law No.243 of 1951) shall be partially amended as follows:
『第六條、第八條及び第十條中「動植物検疫所」を「農林省防疫所」に改める。』を削る。
"In Article 6, Article 8 and Article 10, 'Animal and Plant Quarantine Station'shall be amended as'Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Quarantine Station'" shall be deleted.
附則中第二項及び第四項を削り、第三項を第二項とする。
Paragraph 2 and paragraph 4 of the Supplementary Provisions shall be deleted, and paragraph 3 shall be made paragraph 2.
（家畜伝染病予防法の一部改正）
(Partial Amendments to Domestic Animal Infectious Diseases Control Law)
４　家畜伝染病予防法（昭和二十六年法律第百六十六号）の一部を次のように改正する。
4　The Domestic Animal Infectious Diseases Control Law (Law No.166 of 1951) shall be partially amended as follows:
第四章中「動植物検疫所」を「動物検疫所」に、「動植物検疫所長」を「動物検疫所長」に改める。
In Chapter IV, "Animal and Plant Quarantine Station" shall be amended as "Animal Quarantine Station," and, "Chief of Animal and Plant Quarantine Station" shall be amended as "Chief of Animal Quarantine Station."
