朕は、林野局官制を裁可し、ここにこれを公布せしめる。
I hereby give My sanction to the Regulations governing the Organization of the Forestry Bureau and cause the same to be promulgated.

林野局官制
Regulations governing the Organization of Forestry Bureau
第一條　林野局は、農林大臣の管理に属し、國有林野の管理経営に関する事務その他林產及び林產物、森林原野、森林保險並びに狩猟に関する事務を掌る。
Article 1.　The Forestry Bureau shall, under the jurisdiction of the Agriculture and Forestry Minister, take charge of the business concerning jurisdiction and management of national forest, forest production, forest products, forest and field, forest insurance and hunting.
第二條　林野局に左の職員を置く。
Article 2.　The Forestry Bureau shall have the following personnel:

專任四十六人　二級うち一人を一級とすることができる。

第三條　林野局に三部を置く。その分掌事務は、農林大臣が、これを定める。
Article 3.　The Forestry Bureau shall have three divisions. The business which each division takes charge of shall be decided by the Agriculture and Forestry Minister.
第四條　林野局に参與を置き、局務に参與させる。
Article 4.　The Forestry Bureau shall have councillors participating in business of the Bureau.
参與は、農林大臣の奏請によつて、関係各廳の一級官吏及び学識経驗ある者の中から、內閣においてこれを命ずる。
Councillors shall be appointed by the Cabinet from among 1st class officials of the government offices concerned and also from among learned and experienced persons, in accordance with the Agriculture and Forestry Minister's recommendation.
第五條　長官は、農林大臣の指揮監督を受けて局務を統理し、所部の職員を指揮監督し、三級官吏の進退を專行する。
Article 5.　The Director-General shall preside over the business of the Bureau under the direction of the Agriculture and Forestry Minister, and shall be in charge of supervision over the personnel of the Bureau, dealing with the advance and dismissal of 3rd class officials at his own discretion.
第六條　部長は、一級の農林事務官又は農林技官を以てこれに充てる。部長は、上官の命を受けて部務を掌理する。
Article 6.　The posts of the division director shall be filled by 1st or 2nd class officials of Agriculture and Forestry secretary or technician. The division director shall take charge of business of the divisions under the direction of their senior officials.
第七條　農林大臣は、必要と認める地に木炭事務所及びその出張所を設け、薪炭需給調節に関する事務を分掌させることができる。
Article 7.　The Agriculture and Forestry Minister may set up Local Charcoal Offices and its branch offices at such places as necessary, which, under the authority of the Forestry Bureau, shall be in charge of the execution of the business of charcoal and firewood supply and demand adjustment.
木炭事務所長は、二級又は三級の農林事務官又は農林技官を以て、木炭事務所出張所長は、三級の農林事務官又は農林技官を以てこれに充てる。
The posts of the chief of the Local Charcoal Office shall be filled by 2nd or 3rd officials of Agriculture and Forestry secretary or technician, and the post of the chief of the Branch office of Local Charcoal offices filled by 3rd officials of Agriculture and Forestry secretary or technician.
附　則
Supplementary Provisions:
この勅令は、昭和二十二年四月一日から、これを施行する。
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from April 1, 1947.
親任官及諸官級別令の一部を次のように改正する。
A part of the Imperial Ordinance concerning officials of Shinnin Rank and official's grades shall be revised as follows:
親任官及諸官級別表農林省の部中食糧管理局長官の項の次に次のように加える。
The following shall be added next to the column of the Director-General of the Foodstuff Bureau, in the part of Agriculture and Forestry Ministry in the above ordinance.
