I hereby give My Sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the partial amendments of Regulations governing the Organization of Tokyo Metropolitan Government and others and cause the same to be promulgated.

第一條 東京都官制の一部を次のように改正する。
Article 1. The following amendments shall be made to part of Regulations governing the Organization of Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
第一條ノ二中「專任四百九十六人以內」を「專任四百九十七人以內」に改める。
In Article 1-(2), "not more than 496 (full-time)" shall read "not more than 497 (full-time)."
第九條中「七局」を「八局」に、「衞生局」を「
衞生局
勞働局
」に改める。
In Article 9, "Seven Bureaus" shall read "eight Bureaus," and "Sanitary Bureau" shall read
"Sanitary Bureau
Labour Bureau.
"
第十一條中第二号を削り、第三号を第二号とする。
In Article 11, item 2 shall be deleted, and item 3 shall be made item 2.
第十六條ノ三 勞働局ニ於テハ勤勞ニ関スル事務ヲ掌ル
Article 16-(3), Business relating to labour shall be transacted at Labour Bureau.
第二條 北海道廳官制の一部を次のように改正する。
Article 2. The following amendments shall be made to part of Regulations governing the Organization of Hokkaido Government.
第一條ノ二中「專任四十八人以內」を「專任四十九人以內」に改める。
In Article 1-(2), "not more than 48 (full-time)" shall read "not more than 49 (full-time)."
第十條中「九部」を「十部」に、「民生部」を「
民生部
勞働部
」に改める。
In Article 10, "Nine Divisions" shall read "Ten Divisions," and "Welfare Division" shall read
"Welfare Division
Labour Division
."
第十二條第四項中第二号を削り、第三号を第二号とし、同條第四項の次に左の一項を加える。
Item 2, paragraph 4 in Article 12 shall be deleted, item 3 being made item 2, and the following paragraph shall be added after paragraph 4.
勞働部ニ於テハ勤勞ニ関スル事務ヲ掌ル
Business relating to labour shall be transacted at Labour Division.
第三條 地方官官制の一部を次のように改正する。
Article 3. The following amendments shall be made to part of Regulations governing the Organization of Prefectural Government.
In Article 2, "not more than 1,350 (full-time)" shall read "not more than 1,352 (full-time)," and "not more than 29,488 (full-time)" shall read "not more than 29,506 (full-time)."
第十二條第二項中「衞生部」の下に「、勞働部」を加える。
In Article 12, paragraph 2, "Labour Division" shall be added next to "Sanitary Division."
第十四條ノ二但書を次のように改める。
The proviso of Article 14-(2) shall read as follows:
However, at Education and Welfare Division of the Prefectural Government where Sanitary Division is established, the business in item 1 to item 3 inclusive and item 5 to item 7 inclusive shall be transacted, and at Education and Welfare Division of the Prefectural Government where Labour Division is established, the business in item 1 to item 5 inclusive and in item 7 shall be transacted, and at Education and Welfare Division of the Prefectural Government where Sanitary Division and Labour Division are established the business in item 1 to item 3, item 5, and item 7 shall be transacted.
第十六條第二項但書を次のように改める。
The proviso of paragraph 2 of Article 16, shall read as follows:
However, at Welfare Division of the Prefectural Government where Sanitary Division is established, the business in item 5 to item 7 of Article 14-(2) shall be transacted, and at Welfare Division of the Prefectural Government where Labour Division is established, the business in item 4, item 5 and item 7 of Article 14-(2) shall be transacted, and at Welfare Division of the Prefectural Government where Sanitary Division and Labour Division are established, the business in item 5 and item 7 of Article 14-(2) shall be transacted.
同條第三項の次に左の一項を加える。
The following paragraph shall be added after paragraph 4 of the same Article.
勞働部ニ於テハ勤勞ニ關スル事務ヲ掌ル
Business related to labour is transacted at Labour Division.
第四條 都廳府縣等臨時職員等設置制の一部を次のように改正する。
Article 4. The following amendments shall be made to part of Regulations governing Temporary Establishment of Personnel in Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Hokkaido Government and Prefectural Governments.
In Article 1, "full-time 56 Second Rank" shall read "full-time 68 Second Rank, one of whom may be First Rank," "full-time 20" shall read "full-time 21," and "full-time 689" shall read "full-time 705."
