(Partial Amendment to the Economic Stabilization Board Establishment Law)
第一條　経済安定本部設置法（昭和二十四年法律第百六十四号）の一部を次のように改正する。
Article 1.　The Economic Stabilization Board Establishment Law (Law No.164 of 1949) shall be partially amended as follows:
目次中第二章中「第一節　内部部局（第六條―第十四條）」を「第一節　内部部局（第六條―第十四條の二）」に改め、第三章中「第一節　物価庁（第二十條―第三十二條）」を「第一節　削除」に改め、「第一款　総則（第二十條、第二十一條）」、「第二款　内部部局（第二十二條―第二十七條）」、「第三款　削除」及び「第四款　附属機関（第三十二條）」を削る。
In the Contents, in Chapter II, "Section 1. Internal Subdivisions (Articles 6-14)" shall be amended as "Section 1. Internal Subdivisions (Articles 6-14-(21))" , in Chapter III, "Section 1. Price Agency (Articles 20-32)" shall be amended as "Section 1. Deleted" and "Part 1. General Provisions (Articles 20-21)" , "Part 2. Internal Subdvisions (Articles 22-27)" , "Part 3. Deleted." and "Part 4. Auxiliary Organs (Article 32)" shall be deleted.
第五條第三十二号中「物価庁、」を削る。
In Article 5 item (32), "the Price Agency," shall be deleted.
第六條第一項中「 建設交通局 」を「 建設交通局 物価局 」に改める。
In Article 6 paragraph 1, "five bureaus" shall be amended as "six bureaus" and "Construction and Transportation Bureau." shall be amended as "Construction and Transportation Bureau; Price Bureau ".
第七條第三項中「建設交通局に次長二人」の次に「、物価局に次長三人」を加える。
In Article 7 paragraph 3, "and the Construction and Transportation Bureau two Deputy Directors" shall be amended as "the Construction and Transportation Bureau two Deputy Directors and the Price Bureau three Deputy Directors" .
第二章第一節中第十四條の次に次の一條を加える。

(Functions of Price Bureau)
第十四條の二　物価局においては、左の事務をつかさどる。
Article 14-(2).　The Price Bureau shall take charge of the following affairs:
一　物価に関する基本的な政策及び計画を樹立すること。
(1)　Establishment of fundamental policies and plans concerning commodity prices;
二　価格等の統制を行うこと。
(2)　Controlling of prices, etc.;
三　物価安定のための国庫補助金に関すること。
(3)　Affairs concerning the state subsidy granted for the purpose of stabilizing commodity prices;
四　物価に関する関係各行政機関の事務の総合調整及び推進に関すること。
(4)　Coordination and propulsion of the affairs of the administrative organs concerned in relation to commodity prices;
五　物価及び生計費の調査及び統計に関すること。
(5)　Research and statistics of commodity prices and the cost of living;
六　原価計算の統一に関すること。
(6)　Unification of cost accounting formulas.
第十五條第一項の表中「
国土調査審議会 国土調査法（昭和二十六年法律第百八十号）の規定によりその権限に属せしめられた事項を行うこと。

第三條　物価統制令（昭和二十一年勅令第百十八号）の一部を次のように改正する。
Article 3.　The Price Control Ordinance (Imperial Ordinance No.118 of 1946) shall be partially amended as follows:
「物価庁長官」を「経済安定本部総務長官」に改める。

附　則
Supplementary Provisions:
１　この法律は、昭和二十七年四月一日から施行する。
1　This Law shall come into force as from April 1, 1952.
２　この法律施行の際現に物価庁の職員である者は、別に辞令を発せられない場合においては、経済安定本部物価局の職員となるものとする。
2　Those who are actually the personnel of the Price Agency at the time of enforcement of this Law shall become the personnel of the Price Bureau of the Economic Stabilization Board unless an official order is issued to them otherwise.
