Law for Partial Amendments to the Medical Practitioner Law and the Dentist Law
第一條　医師法（昭和二十三年法律第二百一号）の一部を次のように改正する。
Article 1.　The Medical Practitioner Law (Law No.201 of 1948) shall be partially amended as follows:
第三十六條に次の一項を加える。
The following one paragraph shall be added to Article 36:
４　前項に規定する者の外、昭和二十年八月十五日以前に、外国でその地の法令によつて医師免許若しくは医業免許を受け、又は中華民国（満洲及び蒙彊を含む。）において領事官の医業免許を受けた日本国民に対する医師免許及び試験については、昭和三十年十二月三十一日まで、前項の例によることができる。
4　In addition to those as provided for in the preceding paragraph, the Japanese nationals, who, prior to August 15, 1945, received a medical practitioner's licence or a licence for the practice of medical profession in a foreign country in accordance with laws and orders of such country or who received a consular licence for the practice of medical profession in the Republic of China (including Manchuria and Mengkiang), may be treated, in reference to their licensing and examination, in conformity with the instance of the preceding paragraph, up to December 31, 1955.
第二條　歯科医師法（昭和二十三年法律第二百二号）の一部を次のように改正する。
Article 2.　The Dentist Law (Law No.202 of 1948) shall be partially amended as follows:
第三十三條に次の一項を加える。
The following one paragraph shall be added to Article 33:
４　前項に規定する者の外、昭和二十年八月十五日以前に、外国でその地の法令によつて歯科医師免許若しくは歯科医業免許を受け、又は中華民国（満洲及び蒙彊を含む。）において領事官の歯科医業免許を受けた日本国民に対する歯科医師免許及び試験については、昭和三十年十二月三十一日まで、前項の例によることができる。
4　In addition to those as provided for in the preceding paragraph, the Japanese nationals, who, prior to August 15, 1945, received a dentist's licence or a licence for the practice of dental profession in a foreign country in accordance with laws and orders of such country or who received a consular licence for the practice of dental profession in the Republic of China (including Manchuria and Mengkiang), may be treated, in reference to their licensing and examination, in conformity with the instance of the preceding paragraph, up to December 31, 1955.
附　則
Supplementary Provisions:
１　この法律は、公布の日から施行する。但し、附則第二項及び第三項の規定は、公布の日から起算して九十日を経過した日から施行する。
1　This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation;provided that the provisions of paragraphs 2 and 3 of the Supplementary Provisions shall take effect after the lapse of 90 days counting from the day of the promulgation of this Law.
２　医師国家試験予備試験の受験資格の特例に関する法律（昭和二十四年法律第二百七十二号）の一部を次のように改正する。
2　The Law for Exceptions of Qualification for Preliminary National Examination for Medical Practitioners (Law No.272 of 1949) shall be partially amended as follows:
「医師法第三十六條第三項」を「医師法第三十六條第三項又は第四項」に、「満洲国の行つた医師考試の第一部考試に及格し、又は中華民国（満洲及び蒙彊を含む。）において領事官の医業免許を受けた者」を「又は満洲国の行つた医師考試の第一部考試に及格した者」に改める。
"Article 36 paragraph 3 of the Medical Practitioners Law" shall be amended as "Article 36 paragraph 3 or 4 of the Medical Practitioners Law" , and "or passed the first part of the Medical Practitioners Examination conducted by Manchukuo, or obtained the consular license for the medical practitioner in China (including Manchuria and Mongolia)" as "or passed the first part of the Medical Practitioners Examination conducted by Manchukuo" .
３　歯科医師国家試験予備試験の受験資格の特例に関する法律（昭和二十五年法律第二百四十六号）の一部を次のように改正する。
3　The Law for Exceptions to Qualification for Preliminary National Examination for Dentists (Law No.246 of 1950) shall be partially amended as follows:
「歯科医師法（昭和二十三年法律二百二号）第三十三條第三項」を「歯科医師法（昭和二十三年法律第二百二号）第三十三條第三項又は第四項」に、「満洲国の行つた歯科医師考試の第一部考試に及格し、又は中華民国（満洲及び蒙彊を含む。）において領事官の歯科医業免許を受けた者」を「又は満洲国の行つた歯科医師考試の第一部考試に及格した者」に改める。
"Article 33 paragraph 3 of the Dentist Law (Law No.202 of 1948)" shall be amended as "Article 33 paragraph 3 or 4 of the Dentist Law (Law No.202 of 1948)" , and "or passed the first part of the Dentists Examination conducted by Manchukuo, or obtained the consular license for the dentist in China (including Manchuria and Mongolia)" as "or passed the first part of the Dentists Examination conducted by Manchukuo" .
