国際観光ホテル整備法の一部を改正する法律をここに公布する。

国際観光ホテル整備法の一部を改正する法律
Law for Partial Amendments to the Law for Improvement of International Tourist Hotel Facilities
国際観光ホテル整備法（昭和二十四年法律第二百七十九号）の一部を次のように改正する。
The Law for Improvement of International Tourist Hotel Facilities (Law No.279 of 1949) shall be partially amended as follows:
第三條中「又は営もうとする者」を削る。
In Article 3, "or intends to operate" shall be deleted.
第十一條中「登録ホテル業を営み、又は営もうとする者」を「登録ホテル業を営む者」に改め、同條第二号を削り、第三号を第二号とする。
In Article 11, "If the person who operates or intends to operate a registered hotel" shall be amended as "If the person who operates a registered hotel" and item (2) of the same Article shall be deleted and item (3) shall be made item (2).
第十七條から第二十七條までを次のように改める。
Articles 17 to 27 inclusive shall be amended as follows.
第十七條から第二十七條まで　削除
Articles 17 to 27 inclusive.　Deleted.
第二十八條中「第四條第一項第一号及び第二項（登録義務）」を「第四條（登録義務）」に改め、「、第十一條第三号中「第四條第一項各号の一（第十二條第二項において準用する場合を含む。）」とあるのは「第四條第一項第一号」と」を削る。
In Article 28, "Article 4 paragraph 1 item (1), and paragraph 2 (Obligation to Registration)" , shall be amended as "Article 4 (Obligation to Registration)," and "and in Article 11 item (3)'any of the items under Article 4 paragraph 1 (including cases where this applies mutatis mutandis in Article 12 paragraph 2)'as'Article 4 paragraph 1 item (1)" 'shall be deleted.
別表第一の第四号中「ニ　換気設備があること。」を「
ニ　換気設備があること
ホ　外気に面する開口部があること
」に改める。
In item 4 of the Attached Table No.1, "d. Being furnished with a ventilating device." shall be amended as
"d. Being furnished with a ventilating device.
e. Having openings facing the air.

別表第一の第六号を次のように改める。
Item 6 of the same Table shall be amended as follows:
六　客室の收容人員に相応した規模の食堂があること。
6.　Having a dining room whose scale is fit to the accommodation of the bedrooms.
別表第一の第十一号中「夏期に限り営業をするもの」を「季節的に営業をするものであつて、その必要がないもの」に改める。
In item 11 of the same Table "the hotel opened only for summer season" shall be amended as "the hotel which operates a seasonal business and does not require it."
別表第一の第十二号中「開口部」の上に「外気に面する」を加え、同号に次の但書を加える。
In item 12 of the same Table, "facing the air" shall be added next to "Openings" and the following proviso shall be added to the same item:
但し、防虫の必要がない場合にあつては、この限りでない。
However, this shall not apply to the case where there is no necessity to keep off insects.
別表第一の第十三号中「共同用のものは、男女に区別して設けられてあること。」を「共同用のものにあつては、その入口から男女用の区別があること。」に改める。
In item 13 of the same Table, "and have stools distinctively provided for men and women in the case of toilet rooms for their common use." shall be amended as "have stools and in case of the common use, shall have a different entrance for men and women."
別表第一の第一号を第二号とし、以下順次一号ずつ繰り下げ、第二号の前に次の一号を加える。
Item 1 of the same Table shall be made item 2;the succeeding items shall be moved down by one accordingly;and the following one item shall be added before item 2:
一　環境が良好であること。
1.　Having favorable surroundings.
別表第三の第三号中「ホ　開口部には、防虫用の金網が張つてあること。」を「ホ　外気に面する開口部があり、且つ、これに防虫用の金網が張つてあること。但し、防虫の必要がない場合にあつては、防虫用の金網を張ることを要しない。」に改める。
In item 3 of Annexed Table No.3, "e. Openings shall be net-screened against insects" shall be amended as "e. Having openings facing the air and they shall be net-screened against insects. However, it is unnecessary for them to be net-screened against insects, in case there is no necessity to keep off insects."
別表第三の第九号中「その共同用のものは、男女に区別して設けられてあること。」を「その共同用のものにあつては、その入口から男女用の区別があること。」に改める。
In item 9 of the same Table, "distinctively provided for men and women in the case of toilet rooms for their common use." shall be amended as "and in case of the common use, toilet rooms shall have a different entrance for men and women."
附　則
Supplementary Provision:
この法律は、公布の日から施行する。
This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
