(Partial Amendments to the Ministry of Education Establishment Law)
第一條　文部省設置法（昭和二十四年法律第百四十六号）の一部を次のように改正する。
Article 1.　The Ministry of Education Establishment Law (Law No.146 of 1949) shall be partially amended as follows:
第二十四條第一項の表中「
教科書出版資格審査会 文部省著作教科書の出版権等に関する法律（昭和二十四年法律第百四十九号）に規定する事項を審査すること
」を削る。
In the Table of Article 24 paragraph 1,
"Textbook Publication Qualification Examination Council To examine the matters under the provisions of the Law concerning the Right of Publication, etc. of the Textbooks Compiled by the Ministry of Educa-tion (Law No.149 of 1949).
"shall be deleted.

第二條　文部省著作教科書の出版権等に関する法律（昭和二十四年法律第百四十九号）の一部を次のように改正する。
Article 2.　The Law concerning the Right of Publication, etc. of the Textbooks Compiled by the Ministry of Education (Law No.149 of 1949) shall be partially amended as follows:
第二條第二項中「第四條」を「第三條」に改める。
In Article 2 paragraph 2, "Article 4" shall be amended as "Article 3" .
第四條中「第二條の審査に合格した者の競争」を「前條の審査に合格した者の競争」に、「第二條の審査に合格した者との随意契約」を「同條の審査に合格した者との随意契約」に改める。
In Article 4, "the competition among those who have passed the examination provided for in Article 2" shall be amended as "the competition of those who have passed the examination provided for in the preceding Article" ;and "a private contract with any person who has passed the examination as provided for in Article 2" shall be amended as "the arbitrary contract with those who have passed the examination provided for in the same Article" .
第八條中「第六條第五項」を「第五條第五項」に改める。
In Article 8, "Article 6 paragraph 5" shall be amended as "Article 5 paragraph 5." .
第十條中「第六條第二項」を「第五條第二項」に改める。
In Article 10, "Article 6 paragraph 2" shall be amended as "Article 5 paragraph 2" .
第十五條第一項第二号中「第十一條又は第十三條」を「第十條又は第十二條」に、同條第三項中「第十二條」を「第十一條」に改める。
In Article 15 paragraph 1 item (2), "Article 11 or Article 13" shall be amended as "Article 10 or Article 12" ;and in paragraph 3 of the same Article, "Article 12" shall be amended as "Article 11." .
第十六條第一項中「第四條」を「第三條」に改める。
In Article 16 paragraph 1, "Article 4" shall be amended as "Article 3." .
第十七條第二項中「第十一條」を「第十條」に改める。
In Article 17 paragraph 2, "Article 11" shall be amended as "Article 10" .
第三條を削り、第四條を第三條とし、以下一條ずつ繰り上げる。
Article 3 shall be deleted, Article 4 shall be made Article 3, and the following Articles shall be renumbered accordingly.
附　則
Supplementary Provision:
この法律は、昭和二十六年六月一日から施行する。
This Law shall come into force as from June 1, 1951.
