法務府設置法の一部を改正する法律
Law for Partial Amendments to the Law for Establishment of the Attorney-General's Office
法務府設置法（昭和二十二年法律第百九十三号）の一部を次のように改正する。
The Law for Establishment of the Attorney-General's Office (Law No.193 of 1947) shall be partially amended as follows:
第九條第一項中第十一号を削り、第八号を第九号とし、以下第十号まで順次一号ずつ繰り下げ、第七号の次に次の一号を加える。
In Article 9 paragraph 1, item (11) shall be deleted, item (8) shall be item (9), the items following down to item (10) shall move down by one item respectively, and the following one item shall be added after item (7):
八　職員の定員及び職階に関する事項
(8)　Matters concerning fixed number and position classification of personnel.
同項第十二号を次のように改める。
Item (12) of the said paragraph shall be amended as follows:
十二　職員の研修に関する事項
(12)　Matters concerning training and research of personnel.
第十條の次に次の一條を加える。
The following one Article shall be added after Article 10:
第十條の二　検察官に検察に関する学理及び技術の研究を行わせる機関として、法務総裁の管理に属する検察研究所を置く。
Article 10-(2).　There shall be established the Procurators Practising Law Institute under the administration of the Attorney-General as an organ for public procurators to study the theories and practice of prosecution.
検察研究所は、これを東京都に置く。
The Procurators Practising Law Institute shall be established in Tokyo-To.
検察研究所の内部組織は、法務府令でこれを定める。
The internal organization of the Procurators Practising Law Institute shall be provided for by Attorney-General's Office Ordinance.
第十三條の二第一項を次のように改める。
Article 13-(2) paragraph 1 shall be amended as follows:
法務総裁の管理の下に、第八條第一項、第二項、第三項第二号及び第四号乃至第七号並びに同條第四項の事務を分掌させるため、法務局及び地方法務局を置く。
There shall be established Legal Affairs Bureaus and District Legal Affairs Bureaus under the administration of the Attorney-General in order to cause them to take charge of a part of the affairs mentioned in Article 8 paragraph 1, paragraph 2, paragraph 3 item (2) and items (4) to (7) inclusive, and paragraph 4 of the same Article.
第十七條中「九十人」を「百十五人」に改める。
In Article 17, "90 persons" shall be amended as "115 persons."
別表二中司法保護事業審議会、法務連絡協議会及び弁護士審査会の項を削る。
In the Annexed Table No.2, items of Rehabilitation Work Council, Legal Affairs Liaison Council and Lawyers Examination Committee shall be deleted.
別表三の管轄区域の欄中「第八條第一項、第二項及び第四項並びに」を削る。
In the column of area of jurisdiction in the Annexed Table No.3, "Article 8 paragraph 1, paragraph 2 and paragraph 4 and" shall be deleted.
別表四中笠松刑務所の項の次に次の一項を加える。
In the Annexed Table No.4, the following one item shall be added after the item of the Kasamatsu Prison:

附　則
Supplementary Provisions:
１　この法律のうち、第十條の二、第十七條及び別表四の改正規定は昭和二十五年四月一日から、その他の規定は公布の日から施行する。
1.　In this Law, amendatory provisions of Article 10-(2), Article 17, and Annexed Table No.4 shall come into force as from April 1, 1950, and the other provisions as from the day of its promulgation.
２　司法保護事業法（昭和十四年法律第四十二号）の一部を次のように改正する。
2.　The Rehabilitation Work Law (Law No.42 of 1939) shall be partially amended as follows:
第七條第一項中「司法保護事業審議会ノ意見ヲ聽キ」及び同條第二項を削る。
In Article 7 paragraph 1, "after hearing the opinion of the Rehabilitation Work Council," and paragraph 2 of the said Article shall be deleted.
