Law for Partial Amendment to the Law concerning the Validity of the Provisions of Orders in Force at the Time of the Coming into Force of the Constitution of Japan, etc.
日本國憲法施行の際現に効力を有する命令の規定の効力等に関する法律（昭和二十二年法律第七十二号）の一部を次のように改正する。
The Law concerning the Validity of the Provisions of Orders in Force at the Time of the Coming into Force of the Constitution of Japan, etc.(Law No.72 of 1947) shall be partially amended as follows:
第一條の四第二項中「五月二日」を「七月十五日」に改め、同條に次の一項を加える。
In the second paragraph of Art.1-(4), "May 2" shall be amended to read "July 15" , and the following one paragraph be added to the same Article:
第一項に掲げる法令は、昭和二十三年七月十五日までに法律として制定され、又は廃止されない限り、同月十六日以後その効力を失う。
All the ordinances named in the first paragraph shall be of no legal effect on and after July 16, 1948, unless sooner enacted into law or abolished by July 15.
附　則
Supplementary Provision:
この法律は、公布の日から、これを施行し、昭和二十三年五月二日から、これを適用する。
This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation and apply as from May 2, 1948.
