I hereby promulgate the Law for Partial Amendment to the Law concerning the Validity of the Provisions of Orders in Force at the Time of the Coming into Force of the Constitution of Japan, etc.

Law for Partial Amendment to the Law concerning the Validity of the Provisions of Orders in Force at the Time of the Coming into Force of the Constitution of Japan, etc.
The Law concerning the Validity of the Provisions of Orders in Force at the Time of the Coming into Force of the Constitution of Japan, etc.(Law No.72 of 1947) shall be partially amended as follows:
In the second paragraph of Art.1-(4), "May 2" shall be amended to read "July 15" , and the following one paragraph be added to the same Article:
All the ordinances named in the first paragraph shall be of no legal effect on and after July 16, 1948, unless sooner enacted into law or abolished by July 15.
Supplementary Provision:
This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation and apply as from May 2, 1948.
