I hereby give My sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the partial amendments of the Regulations governing the Temporary Officials of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 81
A part of the Regulations governing the Temporary Officials of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry shall be amended as follows:
In Article 1: In the section of the Secretary of Commerce and Industry, "full-time 167 persons," shall read "full-time 154 persons;" in the section of the Technical Official of Commerce and Industry, "full-time 78 persons," shall read "full-time 76 persons;" and in the section of the Secretary of Commerce and Industry or the Technical Official of Commerce and Industry, "full-time 246 persons," shall read "full-time 280 persons."
Article 1-2 shall read Article 1-3 and Article 1-3 shall read Article 1-4.
Article 1-2. The Commercial and Industrial Commodities Adjusting Official shall be set up temporarily in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Board of Trade and the Board of Coal and shall be appointed from among the second or third class Secretaries or Technical Officials of Commerce and Industry.
The Commercial and Industrial Commodities Adjusting Official shall take charge, in compliance with the direction of the senior official, of the business concerning the allocation of the designated production material for enterprises under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
For the purpose of filling up the post of the Commercial and Industrial Commodities Adjusting Official, the following officials shall be set up additionally in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Board of Trade and the Board of Coal.
The Secretary of Commerce and Industry;
full-time 517 persons, the second class
The Technical Official of Commerce and Industry;
full-time 258 persons, the second class
The Secretary of Commerce and Industry or the Technical Official of Commerce and Industry;
full-time 940 persons, the third class
Supplementary Provision:
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
