I hereby give My sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the partial amendments to the Enforcement Law of the Tokyo Metropolis Organization and others, and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 59
第一條 東京都制施行令の一部を次のように改正する。
Article 1. The Ordinance concerninig the Enforcement of the Tokyo Metropolis Organization Law shall be amended partially as follows:
In Article 116, paragraph 1, next to "among the Izushichito," "Aogashima" shall be added and "members of the Metropolitan assembly" shall read "governor of the Metropolis and members of the Metropolitan assembly."
第二條 道府縣制施行令の一部を次のように改正する。
Article 2. The Ordinance concerning the Enforcement of District, urban and rural prefectures Organization Law shall be amended partially as follows:
第三十條第二項中「道會議員」を「道廳長官及道會議員」に、「縣議員」を「縣知事及縣會議員」に改める。
In Article 30, paragraph 2, "members of District assembly" and "members of urban and rural prefectural assembly" shall read "governor of District and members of District assembly" and "governors of urban and rural prefectures" respectively.
附 則
Supplementary Provision:
この勅令は、公布の日から、これを施行する。
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
