Law No.140
政府は、官吏、官吏の待遇を受ける者、嘱託員、雇員、傭人及び工員であつて、常時勤務に服する者に対し、その者の受ける給與の月額の八分の一に相当する金額を、昭和二十二年十月以降当分の間、毎月、臨時手当として、支給する。
The Government shall be authorized to grant a temporary allowance each month in and after October, 1947, the allowance at the rate of 12.5 per cent of their monthly total pay to government service officials and those treated as such, unclassified officials, junior clerks, auxiliary workers and crafts who regularily serve in the Government.
前項の規定による臨時手当の支給の基礎となる給與及び同項の臨時手当の支給手続に関し必要な事項は、大藏大臣が、これを定める。
Necessary details concerning the coverage of payment basic to the temporary allowance referred to in the preceding paragraph and other administrative matters regarding the granting procedures of the said allowance of the same paragraph shall be determined by the Minister of Finance.
附　則
Supplementary Provision:
この法律は、昭和二十二年十月一日から、これを適用する。
The present law shall come into force as from October 1, 1947,
昭和二十二年法律第百十九号（政府職員に対する一時手当の支給に関する法律）は、昭和二十二年十一月三十日限り、これを廃止する。
Law No.119 of 1947 concerning Lump Sum Grant for Public Servants shall be abregated on November 30, 1947.
