I hereby give My sanction to the Law concerning the Partial Amendment to the Calamity Relief Fund Law, for which the concurrence of the Imperial Diet has been obtained, and cause the same to be promulgated.

罹災救助基金法の一部を次のように改正する。
Part of the Calamity Relief Fund Law shall be amended as follows:
第一條、第二條第一項、第七條及び第十五條ノ二中「府縣」を「都道府縣」に改める。
In Art.1, 2 para.1, Art.7, and Art.15-(2), "Prefectures" shall read "Metropolis, Region and prefectures."
第三條中「府縣」を「都府縣」に改め、同條に次の一項を加える。
In Art.3, "prefectures" shall read "Metropolis and prefectures," and the following paragraph shall be added to the same Article:
北海道ニ於テ貯蓄スベキ罹災救助基金ノ最少額ハ百萬圓トス
The minimum amount to be saved for Calamity Relief Fund in Hokkaido shall be 1,000,000 yen.
In Art.15, Art.16, Art.17, Art.19, Art.20, and the Supplementary Rule para.2, "prefectures" shall read "Metropolis, Region and prefectures," "prefectural assembly" shall read "assembly of Metropolis, Region or prefectures" and "Home Minister and Finance Minister" shall read "Welfare Minister, Home Minister and Finance Minister."

Supplementary Provisions:
この法律は、公布の日から、これを施行する。
The present Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
北海道罹災救助基金法は、これを廃止する。
The Hokkaido Calamity Relief Fund Law shall be abolished.
北海道罹災救助基金法により貯蓄した罹災救助基金は、罹災救助基金法により貯蓄した罹災救助基金とする。
The Calamity Relief Fund which has been saved under the Hokkaido Calamity Relief Fund Law shall be transferred to calamity relief fund saved under Calamity Relief Fund Law.
