朕は、勤勞統計調査令の一部を改正する勅令を裁可し、ここにこれを公布せしめる。
I hereby give My Sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the partial amendments to the Ordinance for Labour Census and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 552
勤勞統計調査令の一部を次のやうに改正する。
The following amendments shall be made to part of the Ordinance for Labor Census.
「事業體」を「事務所」に改める。
"Jigyotai" (establishment) shall read "Jigyosho" (establishment).
第二十六條中第六號を削り、第三號を第四號とし、第四號を第五號とし、第五號を第六號とし、第三號として左のように加える。
In Art. 26, the following item shall be added after item 2.
三　土石採取事業場
3　Quarries
同條に左の一號を加える。
In the same Art. items 3, 4 and 5 shall read item 4, 5 and 6, respectively, item 6 shall be deleted, and the following item shall be added.
十　其ノ他ノ產業事務所
10　Establishments of other industry.
第二十七條及び二十八條中「事業場」を「事業所」に改める。
In Art. 27 and Art. 28, "Jigyojo" shall read "Jigyosho."
第二十九條中「事業場」を「事業所」に改め、同條に左の一項を加える。
In Art. 29, "Jigyojo" shall read "Jigyosho" and the following paragraph shall be added in the same Art.
地方長官ハ市町村長（東京都竝ニ市制第六條及第八十二條第三項ノ市ノ區長ヲ含ム）ヲシテ調査ニ關スル事務ノ一部ノ執行ヲ掌ラシムルコトヲ得
Local Governor may make the mayor of a city, a headman of a town or village (including chiefs of wards of Tokyo Metropolis and chiefs of wards of cities provided in Art. 6 and in Art. 82 par. 3 of City Regulation Law) take part in the work of taking the Census.
附　則
Supplementary Provision:
この勅令は、公布の日から、これを施行する。但し、每月勤勞統計調査に關する規定は、昭和二十二年一月末現在により行う調査から、これを適用する。
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation, provided that the provision concerning Monthly Labour Census shall be applied starting from the Census to be taken at the end of January, 1947.
