I hereby give My Sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the partial amendments to the Ordinance for Labour Census and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 552
The following amendments shall be made to part of the Ordinance for Labor Census.
"Jigyotai" (establishment) shall read "Jigyosho" (establishment).
In Art. 26, the following item shall be added after item 2.
In the same Art. items 3, 4 and 5 shall read item 4, 5 and 6, respectively, item 6 shall be deleted, and the following item shall be added.
10 Establishments of other industry.
In Art. 27 and Art. 28, "Jigyojo" shall read "Jigyosho."
In Art. 29, "Jigyojo" shall read "Jigyosho" and the following paragraph shall be added in the same Art.
Local Governor may make the mayor of a city, a headman of a town or village (including chiefs of wards of Tokyo Metropolis and chiefs of wards of cities provided in Art. 6 and in Art. 82 par. 3 of City Regulation Law) take part in the work of taking the Census.
Supplementary Provision:
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation, provided that the provision concerning Monthly Labour Census shall be applied starting from the Census to be taken at the end of January, 1947.
