I hereby give My Sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the partial amendments of the Regulations governing the Organization of the Government Universities and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 424
The following amendment shall be made to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the partial amendments of the Regulations governing the Organization of Government Universities:-
In Art. 16, Par. 1, "Foods Putrefaction Research Institute is attached to Chiba Medical University" is to be added to "Radium Springs Research Institute is attached to Okayama Medical University." In Art. 16, Par. 2, "Foods Putrefaction Research Institute conducts researches into the theories concerning prevention of putrefaction of food, their application and researches into anti-bacilli substances in general" is to be added to "researches into the theories concerning radium springs and their application."
In the Annexed table No. 1, the following amendment is to be made: In the column for Education Ministry Instructors (Professors) in Chiba Medical University, "24 persons" shall read "26 persons". In the column for Education Ministry Instructors (Assistant Professors) "21 persons" shall read "23 persons". In the column for Education Ministry Instructors of 3rd grade, "53 persons" shall read "57 persons". In the column for Education Ministry Secretaries of 3rd Grade, "14 persons" shall read "15 persons."
Supplementary Provision:
The present ordinance shall come into force as from the date of its promulgation.
