朕は、昭和二十年勅令第五百四十二號ポツダム宣言の受諾に伴ひ發する命令に關する件に基く昭和二十一年勅令第百一號(政黨、協會その他の團體の結成の禁止等に關する勅令)の一部を改正する勅令を裁可し、ここにこれを公布せしめる。
I hereby give my sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the partial amendment to the Imperial Ordinance No. 101 of 1946 concerning the Prohibition of the Formation of any Political Party, Association, Society and other Organizations, promulgated under the Imperial Ordinance No. 542 of 1945, concerning the orders to be issued in consequence of my acceptance of the Potsdam Declaration, and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 312
昭和二十一年勅令第百一號の一部を次のやうに改正する。
Part of the Imperial Ordinance No. 101, 1946, shall be amended as follows:
第二條 前條、第四條又ハ第五條第一項ノ規定ニ該當スル團體トシテ內務大臣ノ指定スルモノハ解散ス
Article 2. Any organizations designated by the Minister of Home Affairs as coming under the provisions of the preceding Article, or Article 4, or the provisions which violate Article 5, Paragraph 1, shall be dissolved.
第四條第二號中「第一項」を削り、「第二條」を「前號」に改める。
In Item 2 of Article 4: "Paragraph 1" shall be deleted, while "Article 2" shall read "the previous item."
第五條第二項中「亦同ジ」を「ハ七日以內ニ之ヲ屆出ヅベシ」に、同項第四號中「又ハ所屬シタル團體」を「及從來所屬シタルコトアル一切ノ團體」に改め、同項第六號を次のやうに改める。
In Article 5, Par. 2, "also the same" shall read "shall report changes in these matters to the authorites within seven days." In Item 4 of the same paragraph, "of any organizations of which they are or have been members" shall read "of all organizations of which they are or have once been members." Item 6 of the same paragraph shall read as follows:
六 構成員ノ住所及氏名竝ニ從來所屬シタルコトアル一切ノ政治的又ハ思想的團體ノ名稱
6. The names and addresses of the members, and the names of all political or ideological organizations with which they were previously affiliated.
第五條ノ二 政府ハ第二條ノ規定ニ該當スト認ムル團體(第四條第一號(イ)ノ規定ニ依リ內務大臣ノ指定スルモノヲ含ム)ノ關係者ニ對シ第三條第二項ノ資產ニ關シ必要ナル屆出ヲ爲サシメ又ハ當該官吏ヲシテ必要ナル場所ニ臨檢シ帳簿其ノ他ノ物件ヲ檢査セシムルコトヲ得
Article 5-(bis) 2 The Government shall be authorized to cause all persons having relations with any organization as specified in Article 2 (including any organization designated by the Minister for Home Affairs in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 Item 2-(a) ) to make necessary declarations in connection with the property mentioned in Paragraph 2 of Article 3 or dispatch competent officials to any place of necessity and have them execute the inspection of books and other matters of necessity.
第七條に次の一項を加へる。
Next to Article 7 the following paragraph shall be added:
第五條ノ二ノ規定ニ依ル屆出ヲ爲サズ若ハ虛僞ノ屆出ヲ爲シ又ハ檢査ヲ拒ミ、妨ゲ若ハ忌避シタル者亦前項ニ同ジ
"Any person who, in contravention of the provisions of Article 5-(bis) 2, has failed to make the required declaration, or has made a false declaration, or refused, obstructed, or evaded inspection shall be subject to the same penalties as prescibed in the preceding paragraph.
附 則
Supplementary Provisions:
この勅令は、公布の日から、これを施行する。
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
昭和二十一年勅令第百一號第五條第一項の規定に該當する團體でこの勅令施行の際現に存するものの主幹者は、この勅令施行の日から二十日以內に、同條第二項第六號の改正規定に準じて、屆出をしなければならない。
The director of any organization coming under the provisions of Article 5 Paragraph 1 of Imperial Ordinance No. 101 of 1946 which actually exists on the day when the present Ordinance comes into force, in accordance with the provisions of Item 6, Paragraph 2 of the same Article, shall make the required declaration within 20 days of the promulgation of the present Ordinance.
昭和二十一年勅令第百一號第七條の規定は、前項の場合に、これを準用する。
The provisions of Article 7 of Imperial Ordinance No. 101 of 1946 shall apply mutatis mutandis to the case mentioned in the preceding paragraph.
昭和二十一年勅令第百一號第五條ノ二及び第七條第二項の規定は、大政翼賛會、翼賛政治會及び大日本政治會竝びにこれらの團體の關係團體の資產に關して、これを準用する。
The provisions of Article 5-(bis) 2 and Paragraph 2 of Article 7 of the Imperial Ordinance No. 101 of 1946 shall be mutatis mutandis applied to Imperial Rule Assistance Association, Imperial Rule Assistance Political Society and Political Society of Great Japan as well as all their affiliates in respect of property.
