朕は、海運局官吏服制等の一部を改正する勅令を裁可し、ここにこれを公布せしめる。

I hereby give my sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the partial amendments of the Uniform System of the Officials of the Maritime Bureau and others and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 297

第一條　海運局官吏服制の一部を次のやうに改正する。

Art. 1.　A part of the Uniform System of the Officials of the Maritime Bureau shall be amended as follows:

題名を次のやうに改める。

The title of the Regulation shall be "The Uniform System of the Customs Officials and Officials of Maritime Bureau."

稅關官吏及海運局官吏服制

The clause reading "The uniform of the officials of Maritime Bureau who are engaging in the duties referred to in No. 5-No. 13 of the first paragraph of Art. 1 of the Organization of Maritime Bureau shall be as per separate illustrations," shall read "The uniform of the customs officials and officials of Maritime Bureau who are engaging in the duties referred to in No. 5 to No. 7 items of the first paragraph of Art. 1 of the Organization of the Maritime Bureau shall be as per separate illustrations."

「海運局官吏ニシテ海運局官制第一條第一項第五號乃至第十三號ノ事務ヲ行フモノノ服制別表ノ通定ム」を「稅關官吏竝ニ海運局官吏ニシテ海運局官制第一條第一項第五號乃至第七號ノ事務ヲ行フモノノ服制別表ノ通定ム」に改める。

Of the separate illustration, the title "Uniform Table of Maritime Bureau Officials" shall be replaced to read "Uniform Table of Customs and Maritime Bureau Officials."

別表中「海運局官吏服制表」を「稅關官吏及海運局官吏服制表」に改め、名稱の項を次のやうに改める。

The denomination shall be as follows:

名稱	一級官吏	二級官吏	三級官吏
			二十六號俸以上ヲ受クル者	二十七號俸以下ヲ受クル者

Denomination	1st & 2nd Class Officials { 1st class officials	2nd class officials	3rd Class Officials
			{ officials receiving No. 26 salary or	more officials receiving No. 27 salary or less.

同表附圖中「勅任官及同待遇」を「一級官吏」に、「奏任官及同待遇」を「二級官吏」に、「判任官及同待遇二等以上」を「三級官吏ニシテ二十六號俸以上ヲ受クルモノ」に、「判任官及同待遇三等以下」を「三級官吏ニシテ二十七號俸以下ヲ受クルモノ」に、「高等官及同待遇」を「一級官吏及二級官吏」に、「判任官及同待遇」を「三級官吏」に改める。

Of the illustrations, the following phrases shall be replaced by corresponding phrases respectively:Chokunin Official or equivalent by First class official Sonin rank official or equivalent by Second class official Hannin second rank official or equivalen & up by Third class, No. 26 salaried afficial & up Hannin 3rd rank official or equivalent or lower by Third class, No. 27 salaried official or lower Kotokan rank or equivalent by First and second class official Hannin rank or equivalent by Third class official

第二條　勤勉手當給與令の一部を次のやうに改正する。

Art. 2.　A part of the ordinance relative to allowances for hard working shall be amended as follows;

第一條ノ二第二號中「海運局」を「稅關」に改める。

The words "Maritime Bureau" in No. 2 item of Art. 1-2 shall read "Customs."

第三條　昭和十九年勅令第二百四十五號の一部を次のやうに改正する。

Art. 3.　A part of the Imperial Ordinance No. 245, 1944 shall be amended as follows:

第一條中「海運局ハ海運局官制第一條第一項第五號乃至第十號ニ規定スル事務ヲ行フ爲」を「稅關ハ」に改める。

In Art. 1, the clause "The Maritime Bureau, for the purpose of performing the duties provided for in No. 5 to No. 10 of the first paragraph of Art. 1, of the Articles of Organization of the Maritime Bureau" shall read "Customs."

附　則

Supplementary provisions:

この勅令は、公布の日から、これを施行する。

The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.

三級官吏で月俸八十五圓を受けるものは、稅關官吏及海運局官吏服制の適用については、これを二十六號俸を受けるものとみなす。

The first class officials receiving a monthly salary of \85.00 shall be treated as the officials receiving salary No. 26 in case of the Uniform System of Customs and Maritime Bureau Officials being applied.
