SUBJECT | Operation of Government Meteorological Stations Located on Detached Islands. |
1. Memorandum for the Imperial Japanese Government, file No. AG 000.93 (13 Jan 46) GC, subject as above, dated 13 January 1946 is hereby rescinded.
2. The Imperial Japanese Government is directed to establish or rehabilitate and operate the following Island Meteorological Stations for a period of approximately six month:

3. The above stations will prepare and transit hourly weather reports to the Central Meteorological Observatory, Tokyo in accordance with paragraph 1 d of inclosure to Memorandum for the Imperial Japanese Government, file No. AG 000.93(19 Nov 45) GC-P, subj: “Operation of Japanese Weather Service, ” dated 19 November 1945.
4. Arrangements has been made with the Shipping Control Authority For The Japanese Merchant Marine (SCAJAP) to furnish overwater transportation for establishment and maintenance of the above listed stations.
5. The Imperial Japanese Government will coordinate directly with Commanding Officer, 43rd Weather Wing, regarding transportation requirements and technical details.
