SUBJECT

Operation of Government Meteorological Stations Located on Detached Islands.

1. It is directed that par. 3, Memorandum for the Imperial Japanese Government, from General Headquarters, Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers, AG 000.93 (7 Mar 46)GC, (SCAPIN-801), 7 March 1946, be amended to read as follows:
3. The above stations will prepare and transmit hourly weather reports to the Central Meteorological Observatory, Tokyo, in accordance with par 1d, and, in addition, two of the above stations, Ishigaki Shima and Minami Daito Shima, will also prepare and transmit weather reports to the Central Meteorological Observatory, Tokyo, in accordance with par 3 of inclosure to Memorandum for the Imperial Japanese Government, file No. AG 000.93 (19 Nov 45) GC-P, subject: "Operation of Japanese Weather Service", dated 19 November 1945.
