1. Reference is made to the following Memorandum.
a. Memorandum to Imperial Japanese Government, AG 430 (19 July 46) PH, (SCAPIN-1069), subject as above.
b. Central Liaison Office Memorandum No. 3641 (EA), dated 25 July 1946, subject as above.
c. Memorandum to Imperial Japanese Government, AG 430 (30 July 46) PH, (SCAPIN-1094), subject as above.
d. Memorandum to Imperial Japanese Government, AG 430 (7 Aug 46) PH, (SCAPIN-1112), subject as above.
e. Central Liaison Office Memorandum No. 4018 (EA), dated 14 August 1946, subject as above.
2. The plan by the Imperial Japanese Government, as outlined in paragraph 2 of Central Liaison Office Memorandum No. 4018 (EA), is accepted by the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers with the exception of sub-paragraph a.
3. The Imperial Japanese Government will make available either “a” or “b” dietaries to the above subject nationals according to the choice of the individual concerned.
4. The Supplementary ration, plus the Japanese ration, is effective retroactively as from 15 August 1946.
