I hereby promulgate the Law concerning the Exceptions to the Marine Pilot Law in Consequence of the Operation of the Administrative Agreement under Article III of the Security Treaty between the United States of America and Japan.

Law concerning the Exceptions to the Marine Pilot Law, in Consequence of the Operation of the Administrative Agreement under Article III of the Security Treaty between the United States of America and Japan
The provision of Article 13 of the Marine Pilot Law (Law No.121 of 1949) shall not apply to the master of the vessel operated by, for, or under the control of the United States for official purposes as prescribed in Article V paragraph 1 of the Administrative Agreement under Article III of the Security Treaty between the United States of America and Japan.
Supplementary Provision:
This Law shall come into force as from the day of the coming into force of the Security Treaty between the United States and Japan.
