Law for Partial Amendments to the Law for the Fixed Number of Personnel in the Administrative Organs
行政機関職員定員法（昭和二十四年法律第百二十六号）の一部を次のように改正する。
The Law for the Fixed Number of Personnel in the Administrative Organs (Law No.126 of 1949) shall be partially amended as follows:
第二條第一項の表を次のように改める。
The table in Article 2 paragraph 1 shall be amended as follows:

同條第三項及び第四項を削り、同條第五項を同條第三項とし、同條第六項を同條第四項とする。
Paragraphs 3 and 4 of the same Article shall be deleted, paragraph 5 of the same Article shall be made paragraph 3 and paragraph 6 of the same Article shall be made paragraph 4 of the same Article.
附　則
Supplementary Provisions:
１　この法律は、公布の日から施行し、昭和二十七年四月一日から適用する。但し、行政機関職員定員法第二條第一項の改正規定中捕獲審検再審査委員会に関する部分は、日本国との平和條約の最初の効力発生の日から施行する。
1　This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation and shall apply on and after April 1, 1952. However, of the provisions amending Article 2 paragraph 1 of the Law for the Fixed Number of Personnel in the Administrative Organs, the part dealing with the establishment of the fixed number of personnel of the Prize-Court Decision Review Commission shall come into force as from the day of the first coming into force of the Treaty of Peace with Japan.
２　賠償庁においては、改正後の行政機関職員定員法第二條第一項の規定にかかわらず、日本国との平和條約の最初の効力発生の日の前日までの間、改正前の行政機関職員定員法第二條第一項の規定による定員の職員を置くことができる。
2　In the Reparations Agency, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 2 paragraph 1 of the Law for the Fixed Number of Personnel in the Administrative Organs after amendment, personnel within the limit of the fixed number prescribed in Article 2 paragraph 1 of the Law for the Fixed Number of Personnel in the Administrative Organs before amendment may be retained until the day before the day of the first coming into force of the Treaty of Peace with Japan.
３　改正後の行政機関職員定員法第二條第一項の規定にかかわらず、昭和二十七年九月三十日までの間は、通商産業省の本省の職員の定員は、八千二百五十六人とし、同年十月一日から同年十二月三十一日までの間は、通商産業省の本省の職員の定員は、八千百四十三人とする。
3　Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 2 paragraph 1 of the Law for the Fixed Number of Personnel in the Admininistrative Organs after amendment, the fixed number of personnel of the Ministry Proper of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry shall be 8,256 until September 30, 1952, inclusive, and shall be 8,143 from October 1, 1952 until December 31, 1952, inclusive.
４　各行政機関においては、改正後の行政機関職員定員法第二條の規定による定員（通商産業省の本省の職員については、八千二百五十六人）をこえる員数の職員は、昭和二十七年六月三十日までの間は、定員の外に置くことができる。
4　In each administrative organ, personnel supernumerary of the fixed number prescribed in Article 2 of the Law for the Fixed Number of Personnel in the Administrative Organs after amendment (8,256 in respect to the Ministry Proper of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry) may be retained outside of the limitation of the fixed numbers of personnel until June 30, 1952, inclusive.
５　行政機関職員定員法の一部を改正する法律（昭和二十六年法律第二百九十七号）の一部を次のように改正する。
5　The Law for Partial Amendments to the Law for the Fixed Number of Personnel in the Administrative Organs (Law No.297 of 1951) shall be partially amended as follows:
附則第一項の項番号並びに附則第二項及び第三項を削る。
Paragraph number of paragraph 1 of the Supplementary Provisions and paragraphs 2 and 3 of the same shall be deleted.
