I hereby promulgate the Law for Abolition of Orders under the Office Proper of the Prime Minister's Office and the Local Autonomy Agency based on the Ordinance concerning the Orders to be Issued in Consequence of the Acceptance of the Potsdam Declaration.

（命令の廃止）
(Abolition of Orders)
第一條 左に掲げる命令は、廃止する。
Article 1. The following orders shall be abolished:
(1) Imperial Ordinance concerning Forfeiture, Etc. of Qualifications or Rights of Officials, Etc. of Local Public Bodies to Receive Retirement Allowances, Etc., in the Case of Retirement under the Orders of the Supreme Commander for Allied Powers (Imperial Ordinance No.81 of 1946);
(2) Ordinance concerning the Business Report and Others of Factory, Plant, Research Organ and Others (Cabinet and Ministries of Education, Agriculture and Forestry, Commerce and Industry and Transportation Ordinance No.1 of 1945);
(3) Ordinance concerning the Submittal of "Biographical Information on Scientific and Technical Personnel" (Prime Minister's Office, Ministries of Home Affairs, Finance, Education, Welfare, Agriculture and Forestry, Commerce and Industry, Transportation and Communications Ordinance No.1 of 1947).

(Transitionary Provision)
第二條 この法律施行前にした行為に対する罰則の適用については、なお従前の例による。
Article 2. With regard to the application of penal provisions to the acts which were done before the enforcement of this Law, the precedents under the former provisions shall still apply.
附 則
Supplementary Provision:
この法律は、日本国との平和條約の最初の効力発生の日から施行する。
This Law shall come into force as from the day of the first coming into force of the Treaty of Peace with Japan.
