I hereby promulgate the Law for Partial Amendments to the Law concerning the Salary and Others for the Public Procurators.

Law for Partial Amendments to the Law concerning the Salary and Others for the Public Procurators
The Law concerning the Salary and Others for the Public Procurators (Law No.76 of 1948) shall be partially amended as follows:
In Article 9, "37,000 yen" and "21,000 yen" shall be amended as "50,000 yen" and "28,200 yen" respectively.
The annexed table shall be amended as follows:

Supplementary Provisions:
1 This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation, and apply as from October 1, 1951.
2 The classes of salary to be given as from October 1, 1951, to the public procurator and to the assistant procurator who received, as of September 30, 1951, the salary from the fifth class to the twelfth class for the public procurator or from the first class to the eighth class for the assistant procurator mentioned in the annexed table of the old Law, shall be the seventh, the eighth, the tenth, the twelfth, the fourteenth, the sixteenth, the seventeenth, and the eighteenth class for the public procurator, and the second, the fourth, the sixth, the eighth, the tenth, the eleventh, the thirteenth and the fourteenth class for the assistant procurator respectively. The same shall apply with respect to the classes of salary to be given to the public procurator and the assistant procurator on the day when they came to receive, in the period from October 1, mentioned above, up to the day of the enforcement of this Law, any class of salary from the fifth to the twelfth for the public procurator, or and class of salary from the first to the eighth for the assistant procurator in the annexed table of the old Law.
3 The salary and other allowances already received by public procurators (Kensatsu-kan) as payments to be given on or after October 1, 1951, shall be considered as part payments of the salary and other allowances prescribed by this Law.
