Law for Partial Amendments to the Law concerning the Compensation, etc. of Judges
The Law concerning the Compensation, etc. of Judges (Law No.75 of 1948) shall be partially amended as follows:
Article 15 shall be amended as follows:
Article 15. The monthly amount of the compensations of the assistant judge and of the judge of the summary court may, only in the special cases, be 30,900 yen or 28,200 yen for the assistant judge and 41,200 yen for the judge of the summary court for the time being, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 2.
The annexed table shall be amended as follows:

Supplementary Provisions:
1 This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation, and apply as from October 1, 1951.
2 The classes of compensation to be given as from October 1, 1951, to the assistant judge and to the judge of the summary court who received, as of September 30, 1951, the compensation from the first class to the sixth class for the assistant judge or from the third class to the eighth class for the judge of the summary court mentioned in the annexed table of the old Law, shall be the second, the fourth, the sixth, the eighth, the tenth, and the eleventh class for the assistant judge, and the sixth, the eighth, the tenth, the twelfth, the fourteenth and the fifteenth class for the judge of the summary court respectively. The same shall apply with respect to the classes of compensation to be given to the assistant judge and the judge of the summary court on the day when they came to receive, in the period from October 1, mentioned above, up to the day of the enforcement of this Law, any class of compensation from the first to the sixth for the assistant judge, or any class of compensation from the third to the eighth for the judge of the summary court in the annexed table of the old Law.
3 The compensation and other allowances already received by judges (saiban-kan) as payments to be given on or after October 1, 1951, shall be considered as part payments of the compensation and other allowances prescribed by this Law.
