郵便法の一部を改正する法律
Law for Partial Amendments to the Mail Law
郵便法（昭和二十二年法律第百六十五号）の一部を次のように改正する。
The Mail Law (Law No.165 of 1947) shall be partially amended as follows:
第五十七條中「速達、」の下に「航空郵便、」を加える。
In Article 57, "air mail" , shall be added next to "special delivery."
第六十條の次に次の一條を加える。
The following one Article shall be added next to Article 60:
第六十條の二（航空郵便）　航空郵便の取扱においては、当該郵便物を航空路により運送する。但し、欠航その他の事由により到達が遅延すると認められるときは、他の最もすみやかな運送便により運送する。
Article 60-(2).(Air Mail)　In the air mail service mail matter shall be transported by air route. However, the mail matter shall be transported by other fastest service of transmission, in case the arrival at destination of such mail matter is considered as delayed due to non-flight or any other reasons.
郵政大臣は、郵便物を航空路により運送する区間及び日時を定めて告示しなければならない。
The Minister of Postal Services is authorized to designate the section, date and time at which mail matter shall be transported by air route, and shall make public by notification to that effect.
航空郵便の取扱は、運送区間の全部又は一部を航空路により運送することのできる通常郵便物につき、これをするものとする。
The air mail service shall be given to letter mail which can be conveyed by air route for the whole or part of transmission section.
航空郵便物の料金（第二十一條第二項、第二十二條第二項、第二十三條第四項、第二十六條第二項又は第二十七條第二項の規定による料金を含む。）は、左の通りとする。
The air mail fees (including the fee provided for in Article 21 paragraph 2, Article 22 paragraph 2, Article 23 paragraph 4, Article 26 paragraph 2, or Article 27 paragraph 2) shall be fixed as follows:
一　第一種郵便物 重量二十グラム又はその端数ごとに 二十円
二　第二種郵便物 通常葉書 十円
往復葉書 二十円
三　第三種郵便物、第四種郵便物及び第五種郵便物 重量二十グラム又はその端数ごとに 十五円
1.The first-class mail matter For each 20 grams in weight or fraction thereof 20 yen
2.The second-class mail matter Single post cards 10 yen
Reply-paid post cards 20 yen
3.The third, fourth or fifth-class mail matter For each 20 grams in weight or fraction thereof 15 yen
附　則
Supplementary Provision:
この法律の施行期日は、政令で定める。但し、その期日は、昭和二十七年一月一日以前でなければならない。
The date of enforcement of this Law shall be fixed by Cabinet Order. However, the date shall not be later than January 1, 1952.
