厚生省設置法の一部を改正する法律
Law for Partial Amendments to the Ministry of Welfare Establishment Law
厚生省設置法（昭和二十四年法律第百五十一号）の一部を次のように改正する。
The Ministry of Welfare Establishment Law (Law No.151 of 1949) shall be partially amended as follows:
目次中「第二款　医務出張所（第三十四條―第三十六條）」を「
第二款

地区麻薬取締官事務所（第三十七條―第三十九條）
」に、「外局（第三十七條・第三十八條）」を「外局（第四十條・第四十一條）」に、「職員（第三十九條・第四十條）」を「職員（第四十二條・第四十三條）」に改める。
In the Contents, "Part 2 Medical Affairs Branch Offices (Articles 34-36)" shall be amended as"
Part 2 Medical Affairs Branch Offices(Articles 34-36)
Part 3 Regional Offices of Narcotic Control Officials(Articles 37-39)
"and" External Organ (Articles 37·38) "as" External Organ (Articles 40·41) "and" Personnel (Articles 39·40) "as" Personnel (Articles 42·43)".
第五條第二十四号中「並びに船舶、汽車及び電車の検疫」を削り、同條第五十一号を次のように改める。
In Article 5 item (24), "and the quarantine measures of ships, trains and electric trains" shall be deleted and item (51) of the same Article shall be amended as follows:
五十一　特定の医薬品、用具及び化粧品の規格を定め、又はこれらの検定を行うこと。
(51)　To decide the standards of specified medical drugs, devices and cosmetics, or to execute their assaying;
第十五條中「国立健康保險療養所」を削る。
In Article 15, "National Health Insurance Sanatorium" shall be deleted.
第二十條に次の一項を加える。
To Article 20, the following one paragraph shall be added:
３　厚生大臣は、検疫所の事務を分掌させるため、所要の地に検疫所の支所又は出張所を設けることができる。その名称、位置及び内部組織は、厚生省令で定める。
3　The Minister of Welfare may establish the branch offices or the detached offices of the Quarantine Stations at necessary places in order to charge them with a part of the functions of the Quarantine Stations. Names, locations and internal organizations of these shall be provided for by Ministry of Welfare Ordinance.
第二十八條を次のように改める。

第三十條中「医務出張所」を「 医務出張所 地区麻薬取締官事務所 」に改める。
In Article 30, "Medical Affairs Branch Offices" shall be amended as" Medical Affairs Branch Offices Regional Offices of Narcotic Control Officials ".
第三十二條の表中、北海道地区駐在防疫官事務所の項を削り、東北地区駐在防疫官事務所の項中「青森県」を「北海道　青森県」に改める。
In the list of Article 32, the paragraph of Hokkaido District Regional Office of Preventive Medicine Officers shall be deleted, and in the paragraph of Tohoku District Regional Office of Preventive Medicine Officers, "Aomori" shall be amended as "Hokkaido, Aomori" .
第三十七條を第四十條とし、以下順次三條ずつ繰り下げ、第三節第二款の次に次の一款を加える。

第三十七條　地区麻薬取締官事務所は、本省の所掌事務のうち麻薬及び大麻の取締に関する事務を分掌する。
Article 37.　The Regional Office of Narcotic Control Officials shall take charge of a part of the affairs of control of narcotics and Taima (Cannibis Sativa L) under the jurisdiction of the Ministry Proper.

附　則
Supplementary Provision:
この法律は、昭和二十六年四月一日から施行する。
This Law shall come into force as from April 1, 1951.
