I hereby promulgate the Law for Partial Amendments to the Law concerning Special Instances, Etc. for Lease and Transfer of Ex-Military Property.

Law for Partial Amendments to the Law concerning Special Instances, Etc. for Lease and Transfer of Ex-Military Property
The Law concerning Special Instances, Etc. for Lease and Transfer of Ex-Military Property (Law No.74 of 1948) shall be pertially amended as follows:
In Article 2 paragraph 1, "20%" shall be amended as "40%" ;next to "of the current market price" , shall be added "or leased at a reduced price within 50% of the current market price;provided that the lease of the property with a reduced price within 50% of the current market price is limited to the case where the property which has been leased by the date of March 31, 1951 is to be leased to the former leaseholder in succession" ; "three years" shall be amended as "six years" ;next to "for the use of medical institutions" , shall be added "or social work institutions" ;next to "in Article 1" , shall be added "or Article 98" ;in paragraph 2 of the same Article, next to "Transfer" shall be added "or lease" ;in paragraph 3 of the same Article, next to "transferred" , shall be added "or leased" , and "the reduced amount shall be collected" , shall be amended as "the full amount shall be collected in case the property concerned is transferred, or the contract shall be cancelled in case the property concerned is leased" ;and to the same Article, the following one paragraph shall be added:
4 The social work institutions mentioned in paragraph 1 shall mean the institutions for use of the enterprise prescribed in Article 1 of the Social Work Law (Law No.59 of 1938), the child welfare agencies prescribed in Article 7 of the Child Welfare Law (Law No.164 of 1947), the rehabilitation relief facilities for disabled persons prescribed in Article 5 paragraph 1 of the Law for Welfare of Disabled Persons (Law No.283 of 1949), the protective institutions prescribed in Article 38 paragraph 1 of the Daily Life Security Law (Law No.144 of 1950) and the accommodation for the persons repatriated or suffered from war damage whose protection is necessary.
In Article 3 paragraph 1, next to "or the War Indemnity Special Measures Law (Law No.38 of 1946)" , shall be added "the Income Tax Law (Law No.27 of 1947) or the Accessions Tax Law (Law No.73 of 1950)(including the old Estate Tax Law)" ;and "three years" shall be amended as "five years" .
In Article 5, next to "National Schools" , shall be added "and other educational institutions," .
Supplementary Provision:
This Law shall come into force as from April 1, 1951.
