Law for Partial Amendment to the Law concerning Compensation for National Public Service Personnel in the Special Government Service
The Law concerning Compensation for National Public Service Personnel in the Special Government Service (Law No.252 of 1949) shall be partially amended as follows:
Article 1 item (16) shall be amended as follows
(16) Grand Steward of the Imperial Household Agency, Grand Chamberlain, Grand Master of the Empress Dowager's Household, Grand Master of the Crown Prince's Household and Grand Master of the Ceremonies.
Items (19) to (23) inclusive of the same Article shall be amended as follows:
(19) Member of the National Capital Construction Commission;
(20) Member of the Science Council of Japan;
(21) Member of the Former Naval Port Cities National Properties Disposition Council;
(22) Member of the Fishing Port Council;
(22)-2 Chairman and Commissioner of the Commodity Exchange Council;
(23) Chamberlain, Chief Lady-In-Waiting to the Empress, Chief Lady-In-Waiting to the Empress Dowager, Chief Tutor to the Crown Prince, Ladies-In-Waiting to the Empress, Ladies-In-Waiting to the Empress Dowager, Tutors to the Crown Prince and Tutors to the Imperial Prince.
The title of Article 9 shall be amended as "(Compensation of Member of the National Capital Construction Commission and others)" ;in the same Article, "Commissioner of the Election Administration Commission for Members or the House of Councillors elected from the National Constituency and others" shall be amended as "member of the National Capital Construction Commission and others" ;and "1,000 yen" shall be amended as "1,850 yen."
The title of Article 10 shall be amended as "(Compensation of Chamberlain, and others)."
Proviso to Article 11 shall be amended as follows:
;provided that the application thereto of the provisions of Article 11 of the abolished Law concerning the Protection of the Government against Unjust Claims and others (Law No.171 of 1947) which remain still in force under the provisions of the Law for Abolition of the Law concerning the Protection of the Government against Unjust Claims and others (Law No.190 of 1950) shall not be precluded.
In Article 12 paragraph 1, "within the limit of 10 per cent to 50 per cent of the salary" shall be deleted, and in paragraph 2 of the same Article, "30 per cent" shall be amended as "10 per cent."
In Article 14 item (2), "commissioners of the Election Administration Commission for Members of the House of Councillors elected from the National Constituency and others" shall be amended as "commissioners of the National Capital construction Commission and others."

Supplementary Provisions:
1. This Law shall come into force as from January 1, 1951.
2. The Cabinet Orders enumerated below shall be abolished:
Cabinet Order concerning Compensation for the Grand Master of the Empress Dowager's Affairs, etc.(Cabinet Order No.199 of 1950).
Cabinet Order concerning Compensation for the Members of the Fishing Port Council and the Chairman and Commissioners of the Commodity Exchange Council (Cabinet Order No.305 of 1950).
