Law for Partial Amendment of the Law concerning the Exceptions to the Authority of Assistant Judges, etc.
The Law concerning the Exceptions to the Authority of Assistant Judges, etc.(Law No.146 of 1948) shall be partially amended as follows:
In Article 2 paragraph 3, "a qualified specialist of the Standing Committee for Judicial Affairs of the House of Representatives or the House of Councillors, a secretary (sanji) or an assistant secretary (fuku-sanji) who serves at the Legal Department of the House of Representatives or the House of Councillors" shall be amended as "a specialist or an investigator of the Standing Committee for Judicial Affairs of the House of Representatives or the House of Councillors, a secretary (sanji) of the Legislative Bureau of the House of Representatives or the House of Councillors."
Supplementary Provisions:
1. This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
2. Notwithstanding the amended provisions of Article 2 paragraph 3 of this Law, as to a person who served as a qualified specialist of the Standing Committee for Judicial Affairs of the House of Representatives or the House of Councillors or as a secretary or an assistant secretary of the Legal Department of the House of Representatives or the House of Councillors, his service as such shall be still treated in such manner as has been done previously.
