臘虎膃肭獸猟獲取締法の一部を改正する法律
Law for Partial Amendments to the Law concerning Control of Sea-Otter and Fur-Seal Hunting
臘虎膃肭獸猟獲取締法（明治四十五年法律第二十一号）の一部を次のように改正する。
The Law concerning Control of Sea-Otter and Fur-Seal Hunting (Law No.21 of 1912) shall be partially amended as follows:
第一條の末尾に「臘虎又ハ膃肭獸ノ獸皮又ハ其ノ製品ノ製造若ハ加工又ハ販売ニ付亦同ジ」を加え、同條に次の一項を加える。
To the end of Article 1, "The same shall apply to manufacturing, processing or selling of any fur or finished product of sea-otter and fur-seal" shall be added;and the following one paragraph shall be added to the same Article: 2
前項ノ規定ハ同項ノ規定ニ依ル禁止又ハ制限ニ違反シテ猟獲シ製造シ加工シ又ハ販売シタル臘虎膃肭獸又ハ其ノ獸皮若ハ其ノ製品ノ所持ニ付之ヲ準用ス
The provision of the preceding paragraph shall apply mutatis mutandis to the possession of any sea-otter or fur-seal, or any fur thereof or finished product therefrom which was hunted, manufactured, processed or sold in violation of the prohibition or restriction as prescribed in the same paragraph.
第二條及び第三條を次のように改める。
Article 2 and Article 3 shall be amended as follows:
第二條　政府ハ前條ノ規定ニ依リ禁止又ハ制限ヲ為サントスルトキハ予メ公聽会ヲ開キ利害関係人及学識経験者ノ意見ヲ聽クコトヲ要ス
Article 2.　In cases where the Government intends to make any prohibition or restriction in accordance with the provision of the preceding Article, it must hold public hearing in advance and hear the opinions of persons interested therein and persons of learning and experience.
第三條　削除
Article 3.　Deleted.
第四條を次のように改める。
Article 4 shall be amended as follows:
第四條　漁業法第七十四條第一項ノ漁業監督官又ハ漁業監督吏員ハ同條ノ例ニ依リ本法ノ励行ニ関スル事務ヲ掌ル
Article 4.　Any fisheries supervisor or fisheries supervising official mentioned in Article 74 paragraph 1 of the Fisheries Law shall carry on the business relating to enforcement of this Law under the provisions of the same Article.
第五條中「五千円以下」を「十万円以下」に改める。
In Article 5 "not exceeding five thousand yen" shall be amended as "not exceeding one hundred thousand yen (\100,000)" .
第六條中「猟獲シタル臘虎膃肭獸又ハ其ノ獸皮」を「猟獲シ若ハ所持シタル臘虎膃肭獸又ハ同條ノ規定ニ依ル禁止若ハ制限ニ違反シテ製造シ加工シ販売ニ供シ若ハ所持シタル臘虎膃肭獸ノ獸皮若ハ其ノ製品」に改め、第七條を削る。
In Article 6, "sea-otter and fur-seal taken or their furs" shall be amended as "any sea-otter or fur-seal hunted or possessed in violation of the prohibition or restriction as prescribed in Article 1, or any fur or finished product of a sea-otter or fur-seal manufactured, processed, sold or possessed in violation of the prohibition or restriction as prescribed in the same Article" ;and Article 7 shall be deleted.
附　則
Supplementary Provisions:
１　この法律は、公布の日から施行する。
1.　This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
２　この法律施行前にした行為に対する罰則の適用については、なお従前の例による。
2.　With regard to the application of penal provisions to any act committed prior to the enforcement of this Law, the precedents under the former provisions shall still apply.
