Law for Partial Amendments to the Telegraph and Telephone Charges Law
The Telegraph and Telephone Charges Law (Law No.105 of 1948) shall be partially amended as follows:
In Annexed Table 2 Rates in reference to Telephone, Chapter 4 Rate in reference to licensed telephone, Item II Toll licensed rate, 1. Toll line licensed rate, (1) In case of license for the long period (b) shall be amended as follows:
b. License for government |
(Limited to telephone used for police or fire defence business, affairs of criminal prosecution, railway service of the Japanese National Railways) 360 times the ordinary call rate multiplied by 53 times for one unit of conversation at the section concerned |
In the same Table, the same Chapter, Item II Toll licensed rate, 1. Toll line licensed rate, (2) In case of license, for the short period (b), (c) and (d) shall be amended as follows:
b. License for government |
(Limited to telephone used for police or fire defence business, affair of criminal prosecution, railway service of the Japanese National Railways) and license for Press, Communication company and Japan Broadcasting Association 160 times the ordinary call rate for one unit of conversation at the section concerned |
c. Hour license |
2 times the ordinary call rate by the hours occupied at the section concerned |
Supplementary Provision:
This Law shall come into force as from May 1, 1950.
