In Article 32, "and Nagoya City" shall be amended as "Nagoya City and such cities as to be designated by the Prime Minister in consideration of some special financial need due to war damage."
第二條 当せん金附証票法（昭和二十三年法律第百四十四号）の一部を次のように改正する。
Article 2. The Law for Establishment of Certificates with Prizes (Law No.144 of 1948) shall be partially amended as follows:
In Article 4 paragraph 1, "the assemblies of...... and Nagoya City (which shall be called five great cities hereinafter)" shall be amended as "the assemblies of......, Nagoya City and such cities (hereinafter to be called specially designated cities) as to be designated by the Prime Minister in consideration of some special financial need due to war damage according to the provisions of Article 32 of the Local Finance Law (Law No.109 of 1948)" ;in the same paragraph and paragraph 3 of the same Article, in Article 6 paragraphs 1 to 3 inclusive, Article 8 paragraph 1, Article 11 paragraph 2, Article 15, Article 16, and Article 17 paragraphs 1 and 2, "five great cities" shall be amended as "specially designated cities."
第三條 地方自治庁設置法（昭和二十四年法律第百三十一号）の一部を次のように改正する。
Article 3. The Local Autonomy Agency Establishment Law (Law No.131 of 1949) shall be partially amended as follows:
In Article 5 item (12)-xxi, next to "cities, towns and villages" shall be added "or such cities as are enabled to sell certificates with prizes according to the Local Finance Law (Law No.109 of 1948)."
第十條第一号中「（昭和二十三年法律第百九号）」を削る。
In Article 10 item (1), "(Law No.109 of 1948)" shall be deleted.
附 則
Supplementary Provision:
この法律は、公布の日から施行する。
This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
