The Law for Abolition of the Nippon Express Company Law
1. The Nippon Express Company Law (Law No.46 of 1937) shall be abolished.
2. The Law for Adjustments of Penal Regulations regarding Economic Relations (Law No.4 of 1944) shall be partially amended as follows:
In Annexed Table "B" , item (6) shall be amended as follows:
Supplementary Provisions:
1. This Law shall come into force as from the day on which the Express Business Law (Law No.241 of 1949) comes into force.
2. When the resolutions have been taken before the date of the enforcement of this Law, at the general meeting of shareholders of the Nippon Express Company in accordance with Article 343 of the Commercial Code (Law No.48 of 1899) for the purpose of making conformable to the Commercial Code these matters which do not conform to the Commercial Code, the Nippon Express Company Law and the Law for Adjustments of Penal Regulations regarding Economic Relations shall not apply thereafter.
3. As to the application of penal provisions to actions done before the Nippon Express Company Law and the Law for Adjustments of Penal Regulations regarding Economic Relations cease to apply, in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the precedents under the former provisions shall apply.
