Law concerning the Partial Amendments to the Law concerning the Total Number of Court Officials
The Law concerning the Total Number of Court Officials (Law No.64 of 1947) shall partially be amended as follows:
In Article 1,
"Judges Full time service 957 persons"
"Assistant Judges Full time service 325 persons"and
"Judges of the Summary Court Full time service 693 persons"
shall respectively be amended as
"Judges Full time service 1,016 persons,"
"Assistant Judges Full time service 372 persons,"and
"Judges of the Summary Court Full time service 728 persons".
In Article 3, "20 persons" shall be amended as "22 persons" .
In Article 4,
"Full time service 1,139 persons 2nd class"and
"Full time service 5,584 persons 3rd class"
shall respectively be amended as
"Full time service 814 persons 2nd class"and
"Full time service 2,699 persons 3rd class".
The following two Articles shall be added next to Article 4:
Article 4-(2). The number of Court Clerks shall be provided for as follows:
Full time service 3 persons 1st class
Full time service 590 persons 2nd class
Full time service 1,546 persons 3rd class
Article 4-(3). The number of Assistant Court Clerks shall be provided for as follows:
Full time service 31 persons 2nd class
Full time service 2,018 persons 3rd class
Supplementary Provisions:
1. In this Law, the provisions amending Article 1 and Article 3 shall be enforced as from July 1, 1949, the provisions amending Article 4, as from the day of promulgation of this Law and the provisions of Article 4-(2) and Article 4-(3), as from the day when the period of 30 days will have elapsed counting from the day of promulgation of the Law concerning the Partial Amendments to the Court Organization Law, etc.(Law No.177 of 1949).
2. In the provisions amending Article 1,
"Judges Full time service 1,016 persons"and
"Assistant Judges Full time service 372 persons"
shall respectively read
"Judges Full time service 990 persons"
and Assistant Judges Full time service 344 persons"till September 30, 1949.
3. In the provisions amending Article 4, "Full time service 814 persons 2nd class" shall read "Full time service 1,347 persons 2nd class" till the day when the period of 30 days will have elapsed counting from the day of promulgation of the Law concerning the Partial Amendments to the Court Organization Law, etc. and shall read "Full time service 819 persons 2nd class" from the next day till September 30, 1949.
4. In, the provisions amending Article 4, "Full time service 2,699 persons 3rd class" shall read, till the day when the period of 30 days will have elapsed counting from the day of promulgation of the Law concerning the Partial Amendments to the Court Organization Law, etc., "Full time service 5,558 persons 3rd class," from the next day till June 30, 1949, "Full time service 2,581 persons 3rd class," and, from July 1 till September 30 of the same year, "Full time service 2,636 persons 3rd class."
5. In the provisions of Article 4-(2), "Full time service 590 persons 2nd class" shall read "Full time service 494 persons 2nd class" till June 30, 1949.
6. In the provisions of Article 4-(2), "Full time service 1,546 persons 3rd class" shall read "Full time service 959 persons 3rd class" till June 30, 1949.
7. Assistant Court Clerks may, for the time being, be appointed in excess of the number fixed by Article 4-(3). In this case, the total number of Court Clerks and Assistant Court Clerks shall not exceed the total number of Court Clerks and Assistant Court Clerks fixed by Article 4-(2) and Article 4-(3).
