Law for Partial Amendments to the Reformatory Law
A part of the Reformatory Law (Law No.169 of 1948) shall be amended as follows:
Art.2, Par.2 shall be amended as follows:
2 The Primary Reformatory shall received those persons who are not seriously defective mentally and physically and are fourteen years of age or over but under approximately sixteen.
Art.21 shall be amended as follows:
Article 21. The specially sectioned parts in Reformatories and Detention Houses can be assigned for the Juvenile Detention Home until March 31, 1951, if necessary because of insufficient space in Juvenile Detention Homes. However, Detention Houses so sectioned and assigned are to be used exclusively for such Juveniles who have committed crimes as mention-ed in Art.3, Par.1 of the Juvenile Law and are foreseen to escape.
2 The specially sectioned parts in prisons for juveniles can be assigned for Advanced Reformatories until March 31, 1951, if necessary because of insufficient secure facilities in Advanced Reformatories.
3 A Medical Reformatory for male inmates may be specially sectioned until March 31, 1951, in order to take in juveniles according to the difference of sex, if necessary because of insufficient space in Medical Reformatories for female inmates.
Supplementary Provision:
The present Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
