厚生省官制の一部を改正する法律
Law amending a part of the Regulations governing the Organization of the Ministry of Welfare
厚生省官制（昭和十三年勅令第七号）の一部を次のように改正する。
Part of the Regulations governing the Organization of the Ministry of Welfare (Imperial Ordinance No.7 of 1938) shall be amended as follows:
第三條中「六局」を「七局」に、「公衆保健局」を「公衆衞生局」に改め、「予防局」の次に「藥務局」を加える。
In Article 3, "six bureaus" shall read "seven bureaus" and "Public Health Bureau" shall read "Sanitation Bureau" , and "Pharmaceutical and Supply Bureau" shall be added next to "Disease Prevention Bureau."
第四條及び第四條ノ二中「公衆保健局」を「公衆衞生局」に改め、第四條第四号を第五号とし、第四号として次の一号を加える。
In Article 4 and Article 4-(2) "Public Health Bureau" shall read "Sanitation Bureau," and "Article 4 item 4" shall read "item 5," and the following one item shall be added as item 4.
四　水道、下水道及清掃衞生ニ関スル事項
4.　Affairs concerning water supply, sewerage and sanitation.
第五條第一号中「及藥事」及び同條第二号を削り、第三号を第二号とする。
In item 1 of Article 5, "and pharmaceutical affairs" and item 2 of the said Article shall be deleted, and "Item 3" shall read "Item 2."
第五條ノ二各号を次のように改める。
Items of Article 5-(2) shall be amended respectively or follows:
一　保健所ニ関スル事項
1.　Affairs concerning Health Centers.
二　疾病ノ予防ニ関スル事項（但シ公衆衞生局ノ主管ニ属スルモノヲ除ク）
2.　Affairs concerning prevention of diseases (affairs under the jurisdiction of Sanitation Bureau being excluded).
第五條ノ三　藥務局ニ於テハ左ノ事務ヲ掌ル
Article 5-(3).　Pharmaceutical and Supply Bureau shall administer the following matters:
一　藥事ニ関スル事項
1.　Matters concerning pharmaceutical affairs.
二　衞生資材ニ関スル事項
2.　Matters concerning sanitary materials.
附　則
Supplementary Provision:
この法律は、公布の日から、これを施行する。
The Present Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
