I hereby promulgate the Law concerning the Dissolution of Veterinary Medical Association and Horseshoers'Association.

Law concerning the Dissolution of Veterinary Medical Association and Horsehoers' Association
Chapter I. General Provisions
Article 1. As regards the disposition relating to the dissolution of Veterinary Medical Association and Horseshoes'Association, it shall be carried out according to the provisions of this Law.
Article 2. In this Law, Veterinary Medical Association shall mean Japan Veterinary Medical Association and prefectural Veterinary Medical Association and Horseshoers'Association shall mean Japan Horseshoers'Association and prefectural Horseshoers'Associations.
Chapter II. Disposition concerning the Dissolution
Article 3. Veterinary Medical Association and Horseshoers'Association shall be dissolved.
Article 4. As regards the liquidation of Japan Veterinary Medical Association, it shall comply with the provisions of Veterinary Medical Association Ordinance (Imperial Ordinance No.75 of 1927), except for what is provided by this Law.
2. As regards the liquidation of Japan Horseshoers'Association, it shall be settled in accordance with the provisions of Horseshoers'Association Ordinance (Imperial Ordinance No.440 of 1940), except for what is provided by this Law.
Article 5. As regards the liduidation of prefectural Veterinary Medical Association, the provisions of Veterinary Medical Association Ordinance shall apply mutatis mutandis, except for what is provided by this Law.
2. As regards the liquidation of Prefectural Horseshoers'Association, the provisions of Horseshoers'Association Ordinance shall apply mutatis mutandis, except for what is provided by this Law.
3. As regards the cases the preceding two paragraphs, "Minister of Agriculture and Forestry" in Veterinary Medical Association Ordinance and Horseshoers'Association Ordinance shall read"Governor of Metropolis, Do, Special Prefecture, or Prefecture.
Article 6. In case the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry or the Governor of Metropolis, Do, Special Prefecture, or prefecture deems it necessary to do so in supervising the liquidation of Veterinary Medical Association or Horseshoers'Association, he may cause the liquidator to submit a report concerning the business of liquidation and the state of property or cause the competent government or prefectural official to inspect the same.
2. In case the government or prefectural official concerned makes an inspection in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph, he shall carry in person a certificate of identification and show it whenever it is requested by the persons concerned
Article 7. When the liquidation is completed, the liquidator shall make an immediate report of it to the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry in case of Japan Veterinary Medical Association and Japan Horseshoers'Association, and to the prefectural governor who has jurisdiction over them in case of prefectural Veterinary Medical Association and prefectural Horseshoers'Association.
When the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry or the Governor of Metropolis, Do, Special Prefecture, or Prefecture has received the report as specified in the preceding paragraph, he shall make a public notice that the liquidation of Veterinary Medical Association or Horseshoers'Association has been completed.
Article 8. The Provisions of Arts.78 to 81 inclusive of the Civil Code (Law No.89 of 1896) shall apply mutatis mutandis to the liquidation of Veterinary Medical Association and or Horseshoers'Association.
Chapter III. Penal Provisions
Article 9. One who has failed to report or made false report, or has either refused, disturbed or evaded the inspection by the competent government or public official as provided for in Article 6, Par.1, shall be liable to penal servitude not more than 6 months or a fine not exceeding 5,000 yen.
Supplementary Provisions:
Article 10. This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
Article 11. The Law concerning Veterinary License (Law No.53 of 1926) shall be partially amended as follows.
Arts.9 to 11 inclusive. Deleted.
Article 12. Horseshoers'Law (Law No.89 of 1940) shall be partially amended as follows:
Arts.6 to 8 inclusive. Deleted.
