I hereby promulgate the Higher Civil Service Examination Commissioners and Ordinary Civil Service Examination Commissioners Temporary Measures Law.

Higher Civil Service Examination Commissioners and Ordinary Civil Service Examination Commissioners Temporary Measures Law
Article 1. The Regulations governing the Organization of Higher Civil Service Examination Commissioners and Ordinary Civil Service Examination Commissioners (Imperial Ordinance No.9, 1918) shall remain in force as law for the time being, under conditions provided for in this Law.
Article 2. "Higher Civil Service Examination Commissioners" shall read "Higher Civil Service Examination Commission" .
The Higher Civil Service Examination Commission shall be under the jurisdiction of the Attorney-General.
Article 3. The Attorney-General shall be the Chairman of the Higher Civil Service Examination Commision.
The Legislative Assistant to the Attorney-General shall be the Director of the First Division, the Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs shall be the Director of the Second Division and the Secretary-General of the Supreme Court shall be the Director of the Third Division.
Not less than two members of the Standing Commissioners belonging to the Third Division, shall, in accordance with the request of the Chief Judge of the Supreme Court, be appointed from among the First or Second class officials of the Supreme Court.
The business concerning the preliminary examination of the Higher Civil Service Examination shall be discharged in the Third Division of the Higher Civil Service Examination Commission.
Article 4. Miscellaneous affairs of the Higher Civil Service Examination Commission shall be discharged in the Attorney-General's Secretariat.
Article 5. The provisions of this Law shall not be construed to abolish, amend or supersede any provisions of the National Public Service Law (Law No.120 of 1947).
The First Division and the Second Division of the Higher Civil Service Examination Commission as well as the Ordinary Civil Service Examination Commissioners shall terminate their existence as a matter of course, when, with respect to all public office coming under their jurisdiction, provisions pertaining to appointment in the National Public Service Law (Law providing for exceptions thereof or Regulations of the Rules of the National Personnel Commission included) or laws and ordinances related to the public officials of local public bodies become applicable.
Supplementary Provisions:
This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
"Higher Civil Service Examination Commissioners" in the Imperial Ordinance concerning the Appointment and Promotion of Government Officials and other laws and ordinances shall read "Higher Civil Service Examination Commission" .
