I hereby promulgate the Law concerning the partial amendment to the Local Autonomy Law.

The following amendment shall partially be made to the Local Autonomy Law:
In Article 1, Paragraph 2 of the Supplementary Provisions, "April 1, 1998" shall read "May 1, 1948" and "promulgated" shall read "submitted to the Diet."
Supplementary Provision:
The present Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
