I hereby Promulgate the Law concerning the arrangements of the Laws concerned in consequence of the Enforcement of the Police Law.

Law No.11
Article 1.　The following amendments shall be made to a part of the Ordinance Prohibiting Possession of Firearms and other Weapons:
In Art.1, par.1, "the Competent Minister" shall read "the Prime Minister" , "from the Prefectural Governor concerned (or from the Superintendent-General of, the Metropolitan Police Board in the case of the Metropolitan Area of Tokyo. The same shall apply hereinafter)" shall read "from a public safety commission (which means the Public Safety Commission of the respective To, Do and Prefectures or the Public Safety Commission of the respective Cities, Towns and Villages or the Special Ward Public Safety Commission;the same shall apply hereinafter)" ;in par.2 of the same Article, "the Prefectural Governor" shall read "the public safety commission" ;in par.3 of the same Article, "the Competent Minister" shall read "the Prime Minister" .
In Art.3, "the Competent Minister" shall read "the Prime Minister" .
Article 2.　The following amendments shall be made to a part of the Advertisement Control Law:
In Art.3, "Administrative Government Offices" shall read "the Public Safety Commissions of To, Do and Prefectures or the Public Safety Commissions of Cities, Towns and Villages (the Special Ward Public Safety Commission is included)" .
In Art.4, "the orders of the Administrative Government Offices" shall read "the disposition of the Administrative Government Offices or the Public Safety Commissions of To, Do and Prefectures or the Public Safety Commissions of Cities, Towns and Villages (the Special Ward Public Safety Commission) is included" .
Article 3.　The following amendments shall be made to a part of the Road Traffic Control Law:
In Art.5, par.1, "police officials" shall read "natianal or municipal police officials with competent jurisdiction" .
In Art.6, par.1, "The Prefectural Governors (In the case of Tokyo-to, the Superintendent-General of the Metropolitan Police Board, the same shall apply hireinafter) shall read" A public safety commission (which means the Public Safety Commission of the respective To, Do and Prefectures or the Public Safety Commission of the respective Cities, Towns and Villages or the Special Ward Public Safety Commission;the same shall apply hereinafter), in par.2 of the same Article, "Police Officials" shall read "National or municipal police officials with competent jurisdiction" .
In Art.7, par.3, "The police officials" shall read "National of municipal police officials with competent jurisdiction" .
In Art.9, par.1, "the Prefectural Governor concerned" shall read "a public safety commission" ;in par.2 of the same Article, "A Prefectural Governor" shall read "A public safety commission" ;in par.3 of the same Article, "a Prefectural Governor" shall read "a public safety commission" .
In Art.10, par.2, "A Prefectural Governor" shall read "A public safety commission" ;in par.3 of the same Article, "A Prefectural Governor" shall public safety commission "," the Competent Minister "shall read" the Prime Minister ";in par.4 of the same Article," A Prefectural Governor "shall read" A public safety commission".
In Art.15, "police official" shall read "national or municipal police official with competent jurisdiction" .
In Art.21, par.2, "The Prefectural Governors" shall read"A public safety commission.
In Art.23, par.2, "Police officials" shall read "National or municipal police officials with competent jurisdiction" .
Article 4.　The following amendments shall be made to a part the of Hunting Law:
In Art.13, "Police authorities" shall read "the mayor of a city or the headman, of a town or village" .
Art.26,　shall be deleted.
Article 5,　The following amendments shall be made to a part of the Forest Law.
In Art.76, "the police station concerned" shall read "the mayor of a city or the headman of a town or village"
In Art.78, par.2, "policeman" shall read "the mayor of a city or the headman of a town and village" .
In Art.80, par.2, "the police station concerned shall read" the forest official or the mayors of city and the headman of a town and village".
Article 6.　The following amendment shall be made to a part of the Infectious Disease Prevention Law:
In Art.12, "the police authorities under jurisdiction" shall read "the head of the Health Center concerned" .
Article 7.　The following amendments shall be made to a part of the Law concerning the Prevention of the Infectious Diseases of Domestic Animals:
In Arts.2 to 9 inclusive and Arts.11. to 16 inclusive, In Arts 2 to 9 inclusive and Arts.11 to 16 inclusive, "the police officer (concerned) or" shall be deleted.
In Art.17, pars 1 and 2, "the police officer" shall read "the commissioner for the prevention of infectious diseases of domestic animals" .
In Art.22 and No.5 of Art.24, par.1, "the police officer conerned or" shall be deleted.
Art.32 shall be deleted.
Article 8.　The following amendment shall be made to a part of the Gas Undertaking Law:
In Art.21, "(in the of Tokyo-fu, the Superintendent-General of Metropolitan Police)" shall be deleted.
Article 9,　Provisions relating to Keisatsu-kansho (government police office) in other laws and ordinances shall be deemed provisions relative to the chief of the police station concerned.
Supplementary Provision:
The present Law shall come into force as from the day of the enforcement of the Police Law.
