I hereby give My sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the abolition of the Imperial Ordinance concerning the Payments Regulations for members of both the House of Peers and the House of Representatives of the Imperial Diet and others and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 162
The following Imperial Ordinances, shall be abolished on May 1, 1947:
1. Imperial Ordinance concerning the Full strength and Payment Regulation of Sergeant-at-Arms of the House of Peers and the House of Representatives.
2. Imperial Ordinance concerning the Payments Regulation for members of both the House of Peers and the House of Representatives of the Imperial Diet.
3. Imperial Ordinance concerning the Payments Rule of the Annual Allowances and Travelling Expenses for the President and the Vice-President of the House of Peers, and the Speaker and the Vice-Speaker of the House of Representatives and members of both Houses.
4. Imperial Ordinance No. 425 of 1946 (concerning the Special Exceptions of Daily Allowance for the President and the Vice-President of the House of Peers, and the Speaker and Vice-Speaker of the House of Representatives, and members of both Houses, and other matters).
