I hereby give My sanction to the Regulations governing the Organization of Quarantine Offices, and cause the same to be promulgated.

檢疫所官制
The Regulations governing the Organization of Quarantine Offices
第一條 檢疫所は、厚生大臣の管理に属し、海港及び空港における檢疫及び防疫に関する業務を掌る。
Article 1. Quarantine Offices shall be under the control of the Minister of Welfare and shall conduct business concerning quarantine and epidemic prevention at the marine port and the air port.
檢疫所の名称及び地置は、厚生大臣がこれを定める。
Names and locations of quarantine offices shall be fixed by the Minister of Welfare.
第二條 檢疫所を通じて左の職員を置く。
Article 2. The following officials shall be put in all quarantine offices:
所長
Chiefs
厚生事務官
Secretaries of Welfare Ministry:
專任五人 二級
Full-time 5 persons 2nd class
專任二十七人 三級
Full-time 27 persons 3rd class
厚生技官
Technical Officials of Welfare Ministry:
專任四十三人 二級 內一人を一級とすることができる。
Full-time 43 persons 2nd class 1 among them may be 1st class.
專任二十二人 三級
Full-time 22 persons 3rd class
所長は、一級又は二級の厚生技官を以て、これに充てる。
The first or second class technical officials shall be assigned to Chiefs.
第三條 所長は、厚生大臣の指揮監督を受け、所務を掌理し、所属職員を指揮監督する。
Article 3. Chiefs shall be under the command and supervision of Minister of Welfare, and conduct business and supervise officials attached to their offices.
附 則
Supplementary Provisions:
この勅令は、公布の日から、これを施行する。
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
臨時海港檢疫所官制は、これを廃止する。
The Regulations governing the Temporary Organization for Marine Quarantine Offices shall be abolished.
