I hereby give My sanction to the Imperial Ordinance relating to the Regulations governing the Organization of Post Office Life Insurance Bureau and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 144
The Regulations governing the Organization of Post Office Life Insurance Bureau
Article 1. Post Office Life Insurance Bureau shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Minister of Communications and shall administer businesses relating to post office life insurance, post office annuities, and enterprises attendant thereon.
Article 2. Minister of Communications may establish branch offices of Post Office Life Insurance Bureau in places where he deems it necessary and have them take charge of business relating to Post Office Life Insurance Bureau.
Article 3. Post Office Life Insurance Bureau shall have the following personnel:
Communications Ministry Secretaries:
Full time 3,858 3rd Class
Communications Ministry Technical Officials:
Article 4. The Director shall be of first Class Communications Ministry Secretary who shall administer affairs pertaining to the Bureau in compliance with the order from the Minister of Communications.
Supplementary Provisions:
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
In the following Imperial Ordinances, "Director of Postal Savings and Insurance Bureau, Ministry of Communications" shall read "Director of Post Office Life Insurance Bureau," and "Postal Savings and Insurance Bureau, Ministry of Communications" shall read "Post Office Life Insurance Bureau."
