I hereby give My sanction to the Imperial Ordinance amending a part of the Enforcement Ordinance for the National Medical Treatment Law and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 137
A part of the Enforcement Ordinance for the National Medical Treatment Law shall be amended as follows:
In Article 1, paragraph 2, item 1, "Medical Department of Governmental or municipal medical schools, or private medical schools authorized by Minister of Education" shall be amended as "Medical Department of Governmental, municipal, or private medical schools authorized by Minister of Education," and paragraph 3, item 1 of the same Article shall be deleted.
In Article 2, paragraph 2, item 1, "Governmental or municipal dental colleges or private dental colleges authorized by Minister of Education" shall be amended as "Governmental, municipal, or private dental colleges authorized by Minister of Education," and paragraph 3, item 1 of the same Article shall be deleted.
Article 3 of the Supplementary Provisions shall be deleted.
Supplementary Provisions:
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
As to the graduates of the governmental, municipal or private medical schools or dental colleges not authorized by Minister of Education in accordance with the provisions of Article 1, paragraph 2, or Article 2, paragraph 2, those who are qualified for the State examination of physicians or the State examination of dentists in accordance with the previous provisions shall, irrespective of the amended provisions of Article 1, paragraph 2, or Article 2, paragraph 2, be qualified for the State examination of physicians or the State examination of dentists.
