I hereby give My sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the partial amendments of the Regulations governing the Provisional Establishment of Judicial Officials and others, and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 134
Article 1. The following amendments shall be made to part of the Regulations governing the Provisional Establishment of Judicial Officials:
In Article 2, "385 persons (full service)" shall read "860 persons (full service)."
Articles 3 and 4 shall be deleted.
Article 2. The following amendments shall be made to part of the Regulations governing the Organization of the Prison:
In Article 3, "116 persons (full service)" shall read "133 persons (full service)," "449 persons (full service)" read "810 persons (full service)," "122 persons (full service)" read "147 persons (full service)," "362 persons (full service)" read "414 persons (full service)," "9 persons (full service)" read "10 persons (full service)," and "29 persons (full service)" read "30 persons (full service)" respectively, and the following paragraph shall be added to the same Article.
When any necessity occurs to carry on construction work by inmates in prison under direct management of Goverment, the number of secretaries of Ministry of Justice, as warden, vice-warden and gaoler, may be increased within the budget of special construction expenses.
Article 3. The following amendments shall be made to part of the Regulations governing Organization of the Reformatory:
In Article 1,
of the number of Second Class Educational Official, "23 persons (full service)" shall read "29 persons (full service)," and of the number of Third Class Educational Official,"23 persons (full service)" shall read "63 persons (full service)," of the number of Secretary, "24 persons (full service),third class" shall read "one person (full service),second class," and "35 persons (full service), third class," and of the number of second class Technical Official of Ministry of Justice, "8 persons (full service)" shall read "13 persons (full service)" respectively.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
In Articles 2 and 3, "or Technical Official of Ministry of Justic" shall be added next to "Educational Official of Ministry of Justice."
Article 4. The following amendments shall be made to part of the Imperial Ordinance No. 488 of 1922:
In Article 1, "Maebashi City" shall be added next to "Tokyo Metropolis," and "Kobe City" shall be added next to "Osaka City" respectively, and also "and Sapporo City" shall read "Sapporo City and Asahigawa City."
In Article 2, "30 persons (full service)" shall read "45 persons (full service)," "27 persons (full service)" read "34 persons (full service)," "31 persons (full service)" read "39 persons (full service)," "61 persons (full service)" read "79 persons (full service)" respectively.
In the clause of Tokyo Juvenile Court of the Annexed Table, "Tochigi Prefecture, Gumma Prefecture" shall be deleted, and next to the same clause the following shall be added:

In the clause of Osaka Juvenile Court of the same Table, "Hyôgo Prefecture" shall be deleted, and next to the same clause the following shall be added:

Supplementary Provision:
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
